redrew my favorite shot in the whole movie (this took like ten minutes but i posted it two days later cuz i was too embarrassed)
hes so silly
Can we just talk about the brotherhood between Smoke and Stack?
“The last time I seen my brother, last time I seen the sun” is an incredibly hard hitting line. It’s so sad, I just wanna cry everytime I hear it
Personally, it reminds me of the fact that you can literally lose anyone in your life in a matter of seconds, just like how Smoke lost Stack. One moment, he was talking to him, and then the next moment, his brother is a brainwashed vampire. All it takes is a small mistake, or even just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Let this serve as a reminder that you need to cherish your loved ones because you never know if they will be here or not tomorrow
So I just finished watching Get Out
Never has a movie ending made me more upset before 😭 and I don’t mean that as in it wasn’t satisfying or it was bad, it was just very frustrating to watch. (In a good way, if that makes sense.)
As for the ending, I wouldn’t say that it and what happened was a super super crazy twist, but it definitely was different from what I originally expected (also in a good way)
The ending was so hard to watch for me because I sort of guessed what was generally going to happen-ish (hard to describe without spoiling the movie), so I wasn’t super crazy shocked but it was still terrible and a little surprising to see (I kind of expected a good ending), especially after all that happened.
My only gripe about the movie is Chris’ friend Rod. Again, I’m not gonna give spoilers but I felt his character was a tad unrealistic in the sense of how he was reacting to the situation. He didn’t seem angry or scared enough, and to me, his character just seemed to be a comedic relief. I don’t know if that was just the acting or how the character is written, but he I just wasn’t really my favorite.
Overall, this movie was an easy 10/10 for me. I really enjoyed the message and I find it pretty relatable to some of my own experiences. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, whisper yelling at my screen lol. If you’re into suspenseful movies, you’d definitely enjoy this one.

Random pictures of Jack when he was younger
I can just tell all his teachers hated him lol
Also this is very random but I was scrolling on TikTok and found a video of Jack on some kind of podcast and he was asked about football in Derby county and if they were gonna win or something like that, and I just love the way Derby is pronounced lol it’s so fancy sounding
"i don't know how to act when i'm on my own, ah-ah-ah the way i'm thinking this is unnatural, ah-ah-ah" (ECHOLALIA, YVES TUMOR)

jack o'connell as patrick sumner in THE NORTH WATER (2021)
POV: You're a vampire who just ran into the wrong part of Mississippi
something like that
i think half of being a decent human is just going 'that's not my business'.
someone in a wheelchair stood up? not my business.
someone has a service dog but doesn't visibly need it? not my business.
someone is acting weird? not my business.
someone is participating in a culture i don't understand? not my business.
someone got an abortion? not my business.
someone identifies in a way that doesn't make sense to me? not my business.
someone has a medical issue i don't understand? not my business.
if it doesn't negatively impact me or others, it's not my business. and i will continue to push for legislation that allows people to just live their lives, because why should i or the government have a say in shit that doesn't affect us? it's not our business.
'hear me out' and it's just jack o'connell covered in blood
More randoms I found of Jack
Also am I crazy or does he kind of resemble the guy who plays Superman in that new movie that just came out?
