With the plenitude of players and instruments to hand the band is able to shape the material to great effect, with a sound that is topped off by a highly engaging vocal. The sweeping, almost orchestral compositions demonstrate a group with a firm grip on the skill of song-writing.

'Thick as Theives' is my new favourite! As much as FB’s sound has changed from folk-rock to folk-ROCK, this song really harkens back to softer grooves like 'Planes, Trains, & Motor Vehicles’ from the 2011 EP and 'Running Circles’ from the Thomas Baines era, whilst at the same time being entirely new. I love it!
