RWBY Redraw - Yang's Mission
There's something kinda funny about how RWBY just absolutely refuses to die despite a constant stream of adversity. The first season was objectively hot garbage but it still got a second season. The creator of the series whose passion project the whole thing was passed away in a freak accident after the second season but they just kept going without him and somehow a significant portion of the fanbase went along for it. The budget got slashed in Season 5 because of gross mismanagement but no worries! The fans stuck with it and they got it back for Season 6. Then a few seasons later the entire company that's been producing it went completely tits up and we all assumed THAT would be the end but nope!!! They got bought by Viz. RWBY has now outlived both the man who dreamt it up and the company that produced it. In an era where numerous streaming shows get axed after one or two seasons despite being critical successes with large fanbases it is completely baffling that a show that is so consistently troubled and infamously has an extremely mixed reception cannot be fucking ended despite all indications to the contrary. It truly is femslash Supernatural
Felt right to reblog this today given the news lol

average day at beacon academy
Headcannon that Pyrrha did not like Weiss at first, but was too nice to say so. Not due to jealousy over Jaune or anything like that, but because Weiss immediately does exactly what Pyrrha explains in Vol 2 she doesn't like. She puts Pyrrha up on a pedestal. She talks up Pyrrha's skill and fame and decides, for Pyrrha, that Jaune's not good enough for her. Talk about a bad first impression.
Even funnier if you interpret Weiss as having a crush on Pyrrha. Her stated reason for rejecting Jaune is because boys only want the perks of her last name and she assumes Jaune is the same. However, Weiss initially does, rather hypocritically, think of Pyrrha more like an asset than as a potential friend. Weiss is interested in how Pyrrha's strength can help her, rather than in Pyrrha as a person. Early Weiss was so shallow lol.
Not now honey
That question again.
Enemies-to-lovers pairing who spend a few years trying to make it work as a couple, then mutually agree to go back to trying to kill each other for real because it's hotter that way.
It's these two

Wanting RWBY to stay in Beacon is like wanting Luffy to stay in the East Blue, Madoka Magica to never have its twist, Dragon Ball to never be more than a Journey of the East parody & Batman to never grow beyond "Year One" and to otherwise demand the cast swim about in a little pond forever because its "comfortable" for you. Boring!
