I never expected Silverflint to become canon. I feel like in this season they set up the story where they could have gone that route but haven't. It's an unpopular opinion but now that we are at the finale I wouldn't want it to become canon. I guess because it would only be a moment or two. If they wanted to do it they should have done it a few episodes back. I'm dreading the inevitable fallout but I'm ready for it.
