Club Nintendo Membership Sign Up Closes April 1st
The last day to sign up for a Club Nintendo account (in order to receive a Flipnote Studio 3D download code) is tomorrow March 31st, 2015.
So if you havenât yet, you better get doing that now.
URGENT: FLIPNOTE HATENA SHUTS DOWN FOR GOOD TOMORROW NIGHT
While Flipnote Hatena already cancelled its services on May 31st, 2013, the website domain and its servers will shut down for good tomorrow March 22nd, 2015 at 7:00 PM (PT). Meaning the Flipnote Hatena ID and password retrieval service on the Flipnote Hatena website will no longer be available to use after tomorrow. So, if you still havenât punched in those ID codes yet, now its the best time to do so. If youâre looking for Flipnote Hatena IDâs from famous creators, go here to check out our list of codes. Sudomemo also has a database for ID codes from Flipnote Hatena users who have made a Sudomemo account before.

A: This isn't necessary. You can draw your own version of the Flipnote Frog as long as it looks like.. a Flipnote Frog.
Q: How long does the Flipnote have to be?
A: We have no restrictions. However you can only use 1 Flipnote and not stitch 2 or more Flipnotes into one video.
Q: What type of Flipnote it has to be?
A: You can make a MV (music video), looped animation, stick fights.. etc as long as the Flipnote revolves around the Flipnote Frog theme.
Flipnote Gallery: World To be Available If There Is Demand For It
One of the main criticism for the recently released Flipnote Studio 3D is the absence of online features (Flipnote Gallery: World), aside from the Nintendo DSi Library feature. However, that might chance...
According to a recent email from the Nintendo Customer Support service,
"Flipnote Studio 3D's Flipnote Gallery feature is not available for North America. However, if we get feedback asking and requesting the service, it could push us to release the community service."
In that case, if you want Flipnote Gallery: World to be available outside of Japan, it's best if you call or write to Nintendo right now about your interest.

Hello everyone, Sorry for the lack of posts during the past week. This was due to the chief editor's computer hard drive being crashed and had to get it fixed. Since its been so long, we're just going give you guys news that's been happening during the last week under one post.

Sudomemo is a fan-made online service that allows users to upload their Flipnotes online. It is much like Flipnote Hatena, which has been defunct since May of 2013 (and probably the main reason why Sudomemo exists). Once a user creates a Sudomemo account, their Flipnote Hatena ID will be stored on a database, in which for some reason, anyone can easily access to. So if someone you know just so happens to have made an account there, you can find his Flipnote ID over here in this link. Use this Flipnote ID to search a user's Flipnotes uploaded on Flipnote Hatena. You can view/download them on Flipnote Studio 3D via the Nintendo DSi Library option. How to download your Hatena Flipnotes to Flipnote Studio 3D
Our friends from the Flipnote Studio 3D Facebook page made a really useful post on how to download your once-thought gone Flipnotes from Hatena to Flipnote Studio 3D.
You'll need:
Access to Flipnote Hatena
A Nintendo 3DS system with Flipnote Studio 3D.
Steps:
Go to http://flipnote.hatena.com and log into your account.                                Â
Record the Flipnote Studio ID and Password listed on the Flipnote Hatena page. Keep it in a safe place and do not reveal the password to anyone.          Â
Start up Flipnote Studio 3D on your Nintendo 3DS and connect to the Internet.                                                                                                    Â
In Flipnote Studio 3D, go to the DSi Library (found on the main menu).             Â
Choose whether you want to import your own Flipnotes or from other creators.Â
If you choose to import your own Flipnotes, you will need to enter your Flipnote Studio ID and Password. If you import someone else's Flipnotes, you will only need their Flipnote Studio ID.  The difference is that the first option lets you download all Flipnotes in an unlocked form (even if they were locked), while the second option doesn't.                                                                                        Â
Voila! You can now download your old Flipnotes.

Do you remember that one guy from Flipnote Hatena that you really liked but can't find any of his work anymore? Do you want to watch them again on your Nintendo 3DS? Look no further, this is the official list of Flipnote Hatena IDs. You can use these codes to download Flipnotes posted on the now-defunct Flipnote Hatena website and watch them on Flipnote Studio 3D on your 3DS. In order to use these IDs listed below, go to the Nintendo DSi Library on the second page of the home menu on FS3D and enter the code there (You need a wireless connection in order for this work). We will keep this list updating every day so stay tuned for more creators! Flipnote Studio 3D's Online Features Seem To Be Missing
Wanted to be able to share your Flipnotes easily through your 3DS and an easier way for them to seen by other people? Too bad.
Rumors of Flipnote Gallery: World being stripped off from the NA version appear to be true, as the application does not have any options to share your Flipnotes online.
Some speculate that Nintendo might add it later in an update or this is just a "special" version since its only downloadable through codes given at Club Nintendo.
Alternatives include exporting your Flipnotes as .gif or .avi files, connect your SD card to a PC and upload them online. In order for viewers to watch your Flipnotes in its 3D glory, make a download link for the .kwz file (the original file for the Flipnote) so that users can download the file and save it to their 3DS SD cards and view them on the Flipnote Studio 3D application. It is incredibly awkward and inconvenient procedure, but we will update you once we get any word from Nintendo.
Flipnote Studio 3D Is Now Available to Download, Expect Club Nintendo Down-Time
After numerous delays and wait, Flipnote Studio 3D is now finally available to North America via download codes given to users of Club Nintendo. In order to get your code, sign in to your Club Nintendo account, go to your "To-Do List," click "Get It Now" and follow the instructions.
Keep in mind that Club Nintendo is at risk of high traffic, so expecting some down-time today if you try to get your code.

According to the screenshot below, some information about Flipnote Studio 3D can be noticed from the get-go.
1. Only two pages on the main menu.
2. There is a possibility that Flipnote Gallery: World might not be included, considering that the Japanese version has Flipnote Gallery: World on its own page.
3. There is a DSi Library button where you can check your Flipnotes imported from your Nintendo DSi, as well as local wireless (exchange) and a Settings menu.
UPDATE: Flipnote Studio 3D To Be Released "Later This Month"
While originally stated to be released sometime this week, the Club Nintendo Rewards page now reads that Flipnote Studio 3D download codes will be given out later this month. Source
Flipnote Hatena To Be Shut Down For Good
Flipnote Hatena, the now-defunct online service for the first installment of Flipnote Studio, will be shutting down for good. While Flipnote Hatena stopped its services on May 31st, 2013, the website itself, which is now merely a "Thank You" post and a password retrieval system in order to retrieve a user's uploaded work to the new Flipnote Studio 3D, will be no more on March 31st of this year. It is recommended to retrieve your password as soon as possible before the website closes. Otherwise, you won't be able to download your old Flipnotes to your 3DS.
Flipnote Studio 3D To Be Released This Week
According to Nintendo Life, Flipnote Studio 3D will (finally) be released sometime this week as a free download to Club Nintendo members in North America.
However, it is hinted that the app will now be "stripped down and offline." In order to receive the download, simply go to your "To-Do" section on your Club Nintendo account to get the code. Source
