This franchise is so special to me and to so many other fans. From my first ever Zelda game, Ocarina of Time, I've been engrossed in the world, the lore, the characters, every thing that makes the legend of Zelda what it is.

So, about that new age of imprisonment trailer. Who is this? If it's Wild era Link and his spirit is just controlling this construct, that wouldn't make any sense, considering they said this game is canon. Unless it isn't, though, that would be disappointing.

Maybe it's just a construct made based on Zelda's description of Link?

My theory is that maybe it embodies the spirit of the Hero of the Skies. Well, whatever it is, I'm sure this game is still going to be great.
