I'm actually going insane

Oshamir was so important to me. Because their story really showed that sometimes what seems dark can be a better path than the light. We saw a complex, gray Sith facing off against hypocritical and openly corrupt Jedi, and it felt so good. Usually, it's the heroine who draws the hero to the light side. Here, we had the opposite. Obviously, in this type of story, there's always the temptation for the heroine to succumb to the dark side, but she always refuses and resists in the end, and it's the guy who ends up joining the light. With a very black-and-white vision. When it's better written, it tends to represent a gray union, forming a balance between the two sides. Which is what Reylo was supposed to be before Episode 9... But with Oshamir, the heroine joins the dark side, and at no point do we see this corruption as truly negative. Or rather, the narrative doesn't portray it as such. It was so refreshing.

I LITERALLY do not understand how someone can dislike Sasuke as a character so much that they ship him with Sakura.

At just EIGHT YEARS OLD, Sasuke survived the massacre of his ENTIRE clan. His older brother murdered their parents and then forced him to watch the scene of their death HALF A MILLION TIMES. He is a traumatized, fragile child who lost absolutely everything in a single night because of the brother he used to look up to. Family is the ultimate value in the lives of ALL Uchiha. Their ENTIRE clan is about love. Their clan technique LITERALLY SYMBOLIZES LOVE, and Sasuke is stripped of all of it.

Meanwhile, Sakura HARASSES Sasuke. She doesn't take "no" for an answer, she ridicules another orphan right in front of him, and she completely LACKS empathy (the very thing both Sasuke and Naruto embody). She tries to manipulate him. She invalidates his trauma of losing his family, putting it on the same level as her getting rejected by a boy. And this DOES NOT change over time, because she does the exact same thing even at seventeen.

To love SasuSaku is to hate Sasuke.
