I absolutely adore dogs but I think dog haters are (usually) more justified than cat haters wrt their reasoning

your average cat hater: I don't like how they r bitchy and ignore me/ won't let me manhandle them

your average dog hater: I have been mortally endangered by an ill-trained dog

#people need to train their fucking dogs or im going to steal and train them myself. fuck you irresponsible dog owners with your yappy beasts #with no concept of personal space #i dont care if your dog is the teeniest tiniest dog in the whole wide world or an akita or a 80% wolf content wolfdog train your damn anima #i do hate certain cat owners too specifically the ones that insist cats belong outside. do you know how dodos went extinct? heres a hint:#not because they were stupid mind you. cats did most of the damage because we brought them along to keep pests at bay #and cats everyday are taking down countless animals from bugs to wholeass rabbits as large as they are. birds are suffering #because cat owners think their animal that is primarily native to africa is a Wild predator that Belongs in the wild(buttfuck nowhere city)#which is just as stupid as people who want captive bred parrots to be free and release them in the wild(also buttfuck nowhere city)#stop releasing your fucking domesticated/captive bred animals theyre causing damage to the ecosystem #and when they become too many then they have to inevitably euthanize them because the shelters are already full #also people who refuse to vaccinate and spay/neuter their animals UUUGHHHHH #i just have a lot of criticism for pet owners. i dont like when people antropomorphize their pets #to the point of neglect or abuse #i dont hate cats or dogs though or any other animal.#i have never been traumatized by neither species i just practice a healthy wariness of dogs i dont know who exhibit agitated body language #which i also feel people should take the time to learn #basic knowledge of dog and cat body language should be obligatory for pet owners lest some of them start making (wrong) assumptions #sorry for rambling
