The main reason I love Rent is that there's no fussing about sexual orientations, genders and stuff. Angel walks in the room to meet Roger and Mark and there's no oMg WhAt ArE yOu, they're just listening to damned song. I mean yes, homophobia/transphobia is awful, but sometimes I just want to forget about it and watch a good movie. And Rent is all about love, dying and paying a rent. I find it beautiful.
