bringing the morality gimmick into sports like football is always annoying and exhausting because it'll just lead to disappointment regardless of your stance.

Sure, you want to support a team against a colonizing country but then you look at the corrupt federations, the cheating scandals, the constant racism, homophobia, rapists, and abusers in this industry. It makes it almost impossible to enjoy without choking on the hypocrisy.

You can criticize the reality of all this and still love the sport passionately but stop tryna take the moral high ground just to feel superior and righteous over others.
