Our first wedding to feature has to be one of our favorites, which had recently taken place at Seven Degrees near the stunning canyonside of Laguna Beach. This wedding, with the accommidation of our flowers, came together so well that we cannot help but give even more insight in addition to these pictures posted!
The incredible venue alone became such an ideal location for our artist of a bride, with her wedding set in the arts district of Laguna. In addition to designing the table cards and invitations, our bride had also designed ten large canvases of her own graphic art to hang on all surrounding walls of the reception. Her art became one of the key aspects of the design that personalized her and her mister’s very special occasion.
The color palette was all white and black which made for a very classy look to stage the event. All of the flowers varied in type, but were consistently white throughout. Each bouquet had its own arrangement of a single flower type. Our bride’s bouquet was all white peony, and carried such a sweet sentiment with the addition of charm frames of loved ones unable to witness her wedding day assorted around the stem hold of her bouquet. Some of our bridesmaids bouqets were done in all white rose, all white ranunculus, and all white spider mum, and each of the bridesmaids had their personal rhinestone letter initial attatched to their bouqet.
The ceremony took place on the roof portion of the venue and could not have been more a romantic setting against the beautiful canyon side and blue sky. Additional elements of decor included our unique twist on what would traditionally be a floral arch or pair of pedestal arrangements. We instead created two eight foot silver iron flower towers covered in white hydrangeas, roses, and orchids. On the side of every other chair or so along the aisle, we assorted little textiled paper cones filled with hydrangeas which gave just enough extra floral detail in addition to the petals framing the two sides of the wedding aisle. In the cool afternoon air of the ceremony were hung hand-crafted paper lanterns from Anthropologie which had hung above the wedding guests and newlywed couple.
Other special elements that really personalized their wedding was the simple little addition to the restroom doors,… if you can believe it. On the women’s restroom door was a little framed picture of the bride as a child in her younger years while the men’s restroom door had one of the groom.
The groomsmen also contributed in their own way by bringing their exciting pop of color to the wedding with green striped socks, one of our favorite fun details of the wedding!
For the reception, it only got better! We alternated three centerpiece arrangement designs accross the room for each table and over the dance floor we insterted little tealights into hanging clear glass spheres, which brought such a romantic feel to the room for our dancing party guests.
To end the night with dramatic goodbyes, all of our wedding guests had formed two lines with sparkling sparklers in hand for the bride and groom to run away between. And suddenly they were off! This really was such an incredible night to remember, and we at FlowerFusion had such a great time in bringing the class with our flowers and tasteful design!
