but names such as Lyle, Caz, and Mourvin are also fine.

I use they/he.

I don't prefer which one you use more, so whatever you're comfortable using out of the two.

The US Government is currently trying to pass a national bill that is highly dangerous for queer people

H.R. 2616 — Which bans all federally funded schools from talking about gender identity and sexual orientation.

This act is said to do the following things

Prevent teachers from using the correct names and pronouns of trans students

Ban books that have trans characters present in them

and go as far as to prevent teachers from acknowledging that queer people exist.

This is not an act of "protecting kids" this is oppression of already vulnerable people.

At the same time, I go back and forth with the idea of selfshipping even.. I may call it OC + canon instead of selfshipping..
