jjk men when their partners pass out due to painful cramps
author’s note: this is oddly specific but enjoy! :3
including: nanami, gojo, geto, yuji, megumi, toji and sukuna.
nanami
doesn’t outwardly show that he’s panicked but the way his jaw tenses and brows furrow give it away
immediately checks if you’re breathing just in case he needs to call an ambulance
once again is effortlessly efficient so by the time you’re awake he’s got a water bottle, some pain medication and glass of water ready for you
“please don’t hide how bad the pain gets, my love.”
gojo
for a split second, his heart nearly stops because this hasn’t happened before and panic flashes across his face
then as he scoops you up, he masks his worry with a little grin, “wow, didn’t know i was that good at making people faint.”
he lays you gently on the bed but the smile fades a little as he presses a hand to your cheek
“you scared the hell outta me, babe.”
geto
the concern is evident on his face but similar to nanami he keeps his composure
he kneels beside you and checks your breathing before moving you with steady hands
settles you somewhere comfortable like on the couch or bed, his voice gentle as you stir awake
“you’re safe but please don’t push yourself like that again.”
yuji
freaks the heck out. i’m talking full panic mode activated
instantly by your side, fumbling to check your breathing with tears pooling in his eyes
relief hitting him but still doesn’t stop fussing as he’s lifting you into bed, rushing back with water and painkillers
“please tell me when it gets this bad. i don’t ever want to see you like that again.”
megumi
his calm never falters but the way his jaw tightens betrays him and he’s at your side in an instant, steady hands catching you before you can hit the ground
settles you onto the bed, tucking a blanket over you and setting a glass of water nearby
doesn’t hover or panic, just stays planted beside you, his hand wrapped around yours until your eyes flutter open
“don’t scare me like that again.”
toji
you’re mid sentence, groaning about how especially painful your cramps are today, when he just hears a thud
immediately he’s at your side, cursing under his breath as he picks you up off the floor
he lays you down on the bed with surprising gentleness, muttering about how reckless you are
“you should’ve told me it was this bad”
sukuna
kinda irritated at first (i’m sorry)
his voice dripping with contempt as he scoffs at the pathetic fragility of human bodies
but scoops you up in one movement and makes you comfortable in bed, waiting by your side until you wake up but he’s mumbling profanities the entire time
while you’re tucked under a blanket, he’s massaging your abdomen with his hand, helping reduce the discomfort of the cramps (still has a scorn on his face but he likes the closeness)
Loved your jjk post never read a fanfic with pcos in it before I feel so seen thank youuu💗
thank you <3 i hope i was able to portray it well obv i can only speak for my experience and it does affect everyone a little differently! i do want to write another one, when the readers not on their period but i’ll do it next week dying tm rn
jjk men when their partners are on their period (pcos vr)
author’s note: this one’s a little self-indulgent since mother nature decided to pay me a visit today T^T i honestly forgot how painful cramps could get crying fr so here’s some comfort writing to make myself (and maybe u too) feel a bit better!
including: nanami, gojo, geto, yuji, toji, megumi and sukuna.
nanami
personally, i feel like nanami would be Mr Reliable™. he doesn’t make a big deal out of it, he just quietly makes sure you’re taken care of. he understands how irregular cycles can mess with your mood, and if you’re short-tempered from all those damn hormones, he’d never take it personally. he just lets you vent and adapts effortlessly, never making you feel guilty.
i can also see him encouraging lifestyle changes with you so you’re not doing it alone, maybe taking a yoga class together or going jogging or even trying out a pcos-friendly diet (idk y’all, something with lots of protein? pfft, i still haven’t figured out one that works for me T^T). he’d stick to it right alongside you, because it’s easier to build those habits when someone supportive is at your side.
nanami would absolutely sit in on doctor’s appointments too, just to make sure you’re properly heard and not brushed off. so no doc we will not be slapping a few birth control pills on the table and calling it a day >:(
his calm presence is grounding. on days you can’t get out of bed, he’d simply draw you into his chest, stroking your hair while murmuring in that soothing but firm tone, “rest. i’ll take care of everything else.”
gojo
he teases at first, of course. gojo leans against the doorframe with that signature grin, tossing out a playful, “oh, babe, you’re tougher than sukuna. don’t let some cramps take you down.” but the moment he sees you curled up in pain, your breathing shallow and strained, the smile fades. his whole demeanour shifts in an instant.
suddenly he’s serious, fussing with your blankets and fluffing pillows until you’re surrounded in a cocoon of softness. he makes sure there’s a glass of water on the nightstand, your painkillers within reach and a mountain of snacks by your side (he definitely goes overboard, but the effort is endearing).
also because he’s gojo, he shows up with both a long pink rabbit-shaped hot water bottle and a heating pad, declaring that you should have options. he doesn’t stop there either, using his infinity to hover the heating pad against your stomach or lower back so you don’t even have to hold it yourself. he smirks like he’s just invented the ultimate comfort hack while you finally start to relax, warmth sinking into the ache. is voice dips softer then, teasing without bite, murmuring reassurances as you drift in and out of rest.
(ps: if sukuna ever had cramps this bad, the entire world would be doomed. either that, or he’d just be doubled over and groaning in pain like the rest of us :D)
geto
he notices everything. the second your energy dips and the faint wince that escapes your lips when you shift as you curl up on the couch, or the way your shoulders slump a little heavier when fatigue sets in. he catches it all before you even say a word and before you know it, he’s already draping a blanket over your shoulders. setting a mug of something warm in your hands. like spearmint tea, or green tea with a spoonful of honey. he has a hot water bottle ready too, tucking it over your lower abdomen beneath the blanket you’re cocooned in.
he’s a natural caretaker, always gentle and soothing, brushing strands of hair from your face as he checks in on you. when the pain drags on longer than usual, especially into the night, he never grows impatient. instead, when the pain is intense or the exhaustion feeling heavy on your body, he’ll adjust his whole evening without a second thought, choosing to stay beside you rather than leave you alone.
his voice low as he reminds you it’s okay to slow down and rest, to let him spoil you a little more than usual. he calls you beautiful even on the days you feel anything but that, when all the bloating makes you insecure. his voice is steady and grounding you when your body feels like it’s working against you. with geto, comfort feels almost effortless, like he was built for it.
(sobbing cus i’ll never experience this)
yuji
at the start, poor boy is a whirlwind of panic the moment he realises how much pain you’re in. he hovers by your side blurting out a hundred questions in one breath, “do you need a pack of heating pads? or maybe chocolate? should i run to the store? extra blankets?” he looks so frantic you almost laugh despite the cramps, and though he’s clumsy at first, his worry is nothing but genuine.
though, over time, yuji learns. he’s endlessly patient with you, gently pressing the heel of his palm against your lower abdomen where the ache gnaws the worst, or rubbing soothing circles until the pain eases a little. at night, when sleep refuses to come, he curls up behind you, wrapping you in his warmth and murmuring little reassurances into your hair until your breathing finally slows.
when fatigue leaves you stuck in bed for hours, hot water bottle hugged to your stomach, yuji throws himself into your chores without complaint. dishes or laundry, he attacks them with his usual unstoppable energy so you can rest without worry. with your unpredictable cycle and the exhaustion PCOS drags along with it, he’s quick to find ways to brighten your day, cracking ridiculous jokes. on the days when your body feels bloated or when insecurity whispers its cruel lies, he simply pulls you closer. his arms close around you with unshakable certainty, his voice a low, gentle promise against your hair, “i love every part of you, always will”
toji
his actions always spoke louder than his words. the first thing he’d do is toss a hot water bottle at you with a mutter to “use it” like it was just an afterthought. but ten minutes later, he’d be behind you in bed, his body heat wrapping around you as his huge hand pressed against your stomach, rubbing slow, steady circles with a gentleness you wouldn’t expect from him. his touch is firm and warm, easing the sharp edge of the cramps, grounding you when the pain makes your body tense and curl in on itself.
toji pretends he doesn’t care, rolls his eyes at your groans, mutters under his breath when you whimper, but he’s also the one scooping you up effortlessly when you can’t even stand straight, carrying you to bed like it’s the most natural thing in the world. he’s the one tugging the blanket over you, making sure the heating pad hasn’t slipped, and making those late night trips to the convenience store in the middle of the night when your cravings hit, only to return with an armful of snacks you didn’t think he’d remember.
when insecurity creeps in and frustration makes you teary, he shuts it down immediately. a low grunt and a blunt, “still perfect to me” and then he’s dragging you into his chest, your head tucked under his chin, holding you close like he’s daring you to argue with him. toji’s love is never wrapped in pretty words, but in the small, steady ways he shows up for you.
megumi
he doesn’t need to ask what you need, he notices before you even open your mouth. the smallest wince when you shift in your seat, the way your arms wrap protectively around yourself, or how your eyes linger just a second too long on the heating pad in the corner. he picks up on all of it without you saying a word. without any fuss, he plugs in the heating pad, sets it gently against your stomach, and drapes a blanket over your shoulders with a soft, matter-of-fact touch. moments later, he sets a steaming mug of tea on the table and presses a couple painkillers into your palm, not speaking, just waiting patiently until you take them.
when the pain sharpens and your face pinches, he’s right there beside you, steady as ever. if you drift into sleep, he doesn’t move away. instead, he sits quietly, a book balanced in one hand while the other laces with yours. sometimes his fingers slip into your hair, stroking slowly in a rhythm so gentle it lulls you deeper into rest.
he’s already done the research, spent hours quietly scrolling through medical journals, home remedies, vitamins, diet tips, anything that might ease the weight of PCOS symptoms. but he never overwhelms you with it. instead, when the timing feels right, he mentions them softly, offering each one as a choice, not an expectation. “i read this might help,” he’ll murmur, eyes flicking to you to gauge your reaction. “but only if you want to try.” there’s no judgment in his voice, no pressure, only a quiet kind of care that makes it clear he’d do anything to shoulder the pain if it meant you could rest easier.
sukuna
sukuna always pretends he couldn’t care less, rolling his eyes whenever you double over in pain. “pathetic,” he sneers, his voice dripping with disdain. “human bodies really are worthless” but the moment he notices you’ve barely eaten all day, he’s in the kitchen, slamming pots around as though cooking for you is the greatest inconvenience of his existence.
when you weakly protest, murmuring that you don’t feel like eating, his temper flares instantly. “shut it,” he snaps, looming over you with a glare. “you think starving yourself is going to help? sit up.” he makes you lean against the headboard, thrusts the bowl into your lap and when you still hesitate, he digs the spoon in and feeds you himself. his mouth is curled in a scowl the entire time, muttering about how infuriating you are, but his sharp eyes gleam with satisfaction each time you swallow a bite.
when bloating leaves you self-conscious, you make the mistake of voicing it aloud. his response is immediate, cruel on the surface. “shut your damn mouth. you’re mine. every inch of you. and you’re perfect the way you are.” the words are harsh, almost a growl, but the way his hand grips your thigh, firm and grounding, betrays what he really means.
when the cramps hit so hard you can barely breathe, sukuna’s patience runs out. with a grunt, he hauls you into his lap, your protests ignored. his body radiates heat like a living furnace, his chest solid under your cheek as he wraps an arm around you. he strokes lazily down your back, pretending not to notice the way you cling to him. “pathetic little thing,” he mutters, though his touch never falters. “but you’re mine. so i’ll put up with this.”
mark: chill guy vibes™ streams a bunch of different games like valo, apex and occasionally does collabs with the rest of the guys. his collabs with haechan are very chaotic tho. one time got convinced by chat to do a cooking stream... lets just say someone nearly burned down the kitchen that day-
renjun: cozy vibe streamer! plays a lot of stardew valley and animal crossing! the vibes are so lovely. sometimes he’s got a surprisingly sharp tongue but it’s buried under warm, sleepy vibes. has lo-fi background music always.
jeno: APEX AND VALO STREAMER!! he’s quietly competitive. he’d be the one effortlessly top-fragging in valo or apex while barely talking. he’s got a clean aim, minimal chaos and peak skill. has really nice overlays for his stream. has promised to share a pic of himself wearing a maid dress once he hits a specific milestone.
haechan: the most chaotic of the bunch he’s so unhinged and unpredictable. streams a lot of fortnite (sorry y’all) when he first starts out but then branches out to valo, league. he does do a 24 stream once he hits a big following and is COMMITTED like he tries to stay awake the whole time thanks to redbulls. on-stream roasts and accidental (not really) innuendos.
jaemin: hot gamer who knows he’s HOT but leans into it with some humour. defo flirts with his chat. mhm maybe even with his mods. also has played the weird barbie games yk the really flashy ones- also plays the sims, like creates all the guys and they all live together. somehow manages to recreate sim mark setting the kitchen on fire (poor boy is never gonna live that one down).
chenle: loud and funny. uses kaomojis in his stream alerts. accidentally also roasts viewers esp those who use the text-to-speech thingy (i forgot the name lmao). he’s weirdly good at logic-based games and would defeat most ppl in chess games. got challenged by jisung once (he was half joking) but absolute beat that poor boy so.
jisung: slightly awkward at first, but eventually warms up. mainly streams minecraft and keeps getting killed by creepers/skeletons. he does polls on what to build next but spends so long getting the right materials that he sometimes forgets-
