ok so for context someone left a review on a sephora lotion they bought mentioning how they're seeing a Noticeable increase in their wolf spider encounters ever since they started using it. THEN, the Sephora Reddit got involved and started investigating why, bc that's what redditors do, and what they've found is that (allegedly) there are two chemicals in the lotion that, when used together, brings all the boys to the yard

Sorry for nothing for the last few weeks! Im working on a lot of projects at once - writing, planning a novel, work etc so i havent had much time for the blog ;w;

It's funny how, as soon as I saw Randy's new design, I just knew that you had some sort of influence in it XD

Idk what, but something about it just had "you" written all over it

It was the gradients… it was the gradients wasn’t it

Jokes aside, I didn’t do all that much, mostly just come patterns concepts!

I shared a few of these back and fourth with Loups while she was hammering out ideas! Top left you can see the concept she had at the time! She toyed around with some lovely colour pallets before settling on this beautiful final one!!

This was actually version 2 of Randy’s ghost form! She had a much earlier one that was closer to his “Mo” design, but went with this absolute banger instead >;3

The stuff she liked ended up being his under eye markings and full body streak! Darkening his tail tip a bit, as well as keeping the more gradient esc whipsy whites on his hair, tail base, tail tip, and footys!

The final one she gave the gradients a lot more purpose with the streaks to emphasize his new main! And the final thingy he got was his glorious lil turtle neck >;3

So in the end, i just helped spruce up some patterns and give her stuff to work with, she did AMAZING putting it all together into his floofy masterpiece!! >w<

Randy's new form is so so fluffy i want to go at him with a cat brush. i know there's no way he'd let me but a couple hours with the deshedding rake and the slicker brush and i bet he would be divinely soft

I do feel the need to apologize for all the wip posts lately. But my plan is to have ALL the parts sketched out rather than just working on one at a time. So, in the long run, things will go much quicker later. I still post these just so you guys know I'm hard at work and have stuff to show for it ^^

Part 3 still has a ways to go yet though, since it's the longest, most intense part of the Blu Arc. It'll most likely need to be broken up into separate parts since there's a lot to cover.
