Flicker had been stationed at the communications area of the Super Robot. He was told he’d be appropriate for the position, because he had been shown to be an effective communicator. But Flicker was starting to get a hunch that he was also placed there because it was the easiest job… there weren’t exactly very many messages coming through.

At least, until this one did. Flicker was almost startled by it and allowed the words to flow through his head multiple times before activating the microphone in front of him. “V-vinca? If you can hear this message, this is Flicker of the Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce in Shuugazoom City. Can… can you hear me? Please respond?”

Vinca gasped, answering without delay. “Yes, I can hear you! I’m so glad I could get a signal out to someone. I could have sworn this thing was broken. The Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce…?”

Flicker nodded his head, bringing himself closer to the microphone. “Yeah… where are you? Would you be able to get here, or do we need to come get you? We can keep you safe here.”

“I… I’m not sure. Er, someone is here with me actually. @ask-hallie-monkey Her name is Hallie, and she found me. Is she affiliated with you?”

"I'm... not sure," Flicker said. "I haven't been with the Hyperforce for very long, but that name doesn't sound familiar to me. Are you both safe now? Is there anyone threatening around?"

Finding out that Cecilia Reeves just didn’t want him in the first place and couldn’t handle the burden of his existence, so she faked her own disappearance.

Even if this scenario wasn’t true, it would be what Vinca had feared the most.

Finally this little girl is done! Next and the last in the Next Generation lineup is Fern! She’s a full-fledged robotic monkey like Antauri, and was built by Otto and Phenyo as their daughter figure, using a part of Phenyo’s power source to activate Fern. Fern is needless to say a bundle of joy and an optimistic girl. She’s considered the “heart” of the children and always has a smile on her face, ready to cheer someone up when they’re down. But don’t let her kindness fool you; if any of her friends are in trouble, she will not hesitate to take down whoever opposes them with her electric whips. Given her robotic body and training by her father, Fern is considered a genius when it comes to mechanics.

In some way, Flicker learned to be a little bit of a self-motivator since he wasn’t quite as motivated by his original parents. But for the most part, the Hyperforce (particularly Antauri) is what pushes him to be the best person that he can be.
