            he’s weirdly prepared for this question. it’s as if he had subconsciously been waiting for someone to ask it for months.        ❛  i mean --- i’ve got a big crew !!! but i’ll narrow it down to FIRST TEN. chekov is first. little guy just turned eighteen & the least i can do is start off small with him because it might just be the kid’s virginity. at least make it special, right? start by christening with champagne. next uhura because i feel like it’s had a long time coming & i’ve waited long enough. then sulu. then mr. scott . . . i feel like scotty will be a fun middle to it all. then nurse chapel. i’ll throw gaila in even though, you know -- been there done that. yeoman janice. bones next because he had to be in there somewhere & i had to save him for top three, obviously. then carol. & finally --- spock. he’s a vulcan !!! had to save him for last because i’ll need to be really prepared for a guy who has the physical strength of a human times ten.  ❜

           a smile curls on his lips as he thinks of his stiff, straight forward first officer. once upon a time he would have recoiled at that, but not anymore. not since he got to know spock. not since they spent nights sitting across from each other with a three dimensional chess board between them. not since he studied the man’s face so carefully that he could see the emotions that spock kept under lock & key so well from just the smallest twitch of the vulcan’s face. not since they had both become the reason each other still lived. spock --- spock was his dearest friend . . . &, hey, he’d be lying if he hadn’t thought about them once or twice in different ways. he just kept his mouth shut about that to everyone except for bones when they shut themselves away in the CMO’s office in the med bay with some of scotty’s homemade liquor.      ❛  spock? maybe --- if you ever manage to remove that huge logical stick up his ass. --- i won’t lie, though, i do miss him. if he showed up i don’t think i would ever be so happy in my life to hear him call me ‘illogical’.  ❜

There’s a frustrated groan, fingers moving to pinch the bridge of his nose. There’s a moment when a hand presses against the world, the male himself having too much information going through his head. “I need a drink and to remove my memories.” Han wasn’t going to broach the topic with the other about Anakin. The smuggler didn’t believe Kirk needed to know that Han had been making out with the other who had caused as much pain throughout the galaxy. “But what did you think of me? Am I living up to your expectations?”

Han listens to the male talk about how the earth will change. Usually they’d be a wise crack or five, but for once he just listed to someone talk about something that meant the world to them. Obviously Kirk was as passionate about the Earth as Han was about his Falcon. “I’ll take your word for it for now. But who knows, maybe I’ll stick around to check it out.”

         kirk chuckled. he’s not really sure what cord he struck with han --- but it’s still amusing to see him so frustrated. besides, he hardly gets to think about it. han’s next question has his smile dropping some. what did he think about han solo? god --- he could go on & on about han solo. the most daring captain in the galaxy with the fastest ship !!! kirk wanted to be him growing up. it’s something he could probably easily enough admit to anyone else . . . but to han solo himself? he damns the blush creeping up on his features.     ❛  i’d --- say you’re doing a pretty bang up job, yeah. ------ i used to watch star wars all the time as a kid. they were old movies, the special effects were tragic compared to what they could do in the twenty third century !!! . . . but they were classics. you can’t beat star wars !!! and you? you were my favorite character.  ❜

Marlene definitely wasn’t having the best day. Normally she was good at being strong but being separated from all her friends and being stuck in the black house was definitely beginning to have an effect of her. When the man approached her she was prepared to tell him to bugger off but she doesn’t get much of a chance before his lips are pressed against hers. There’s a moment afterwards where she considers slapping him but instead she cracks the tiniest of smiles. “How did you know that kisses are the number one way to cheer me up?”

            when he pulls away, the moment of reckoning comes. will he be accepted, politely rejected or, the least unsavory option, bodily harmed. –––––––– she smiles. accepted, then. luck seems to be on his side today. that was something unusual for these situations, actually. he had met many hands sharply across his cheek his time. he grins back, a chuckle shaking his chest as well.       ❛  a very lucky guess. i’m good at those. --- i’m guessing it worked? or should i try again, ‘cause i’ve got a lot more kisses, you know !!!  ❜
