I like art but

I don't really enjoy art museums?

Like I appreciate the classics and all that but I dont want to stand around a bunch of stuffy people in a mostly empty room where you feel like you cant breath. It's too sterile, it seems like everyone is judging everything and just aren't happy. That might just be me tho.

I draw and paint and dick around with clay but I'm not great which is fine. But whenever I tell people I do art they take me to museums or galleries and it's just like '.....woohoo I guess....'

I dunno I may just be weird but it's just a funny thing about me.

It breaks my heart to see Nine so looked over when I see dr who posts. . . It always starts with ten (and do not get me wrong I love him) and ends with thirteen. If not for Mr. Eccleston I don't think dr who would've come back as well as it did... And I remember seeing an interview where David Tennant basically said the same thing.

I recently learned about Christopher Eccleston's unfortunate experiences with the BBC and other personal issues and it really opened my eyes. That was the catalyst for this post because after that I couldn't stop thinking about him and how important he was to me during my early teen years. I remember when the 50th anniversary came around. I was so excited to see him interacte with the other two and then he wasn't there. I liked the war doctor but it wasnt nine. I wasnt mad just disappointed, then I heard why and it made me sad how he was treated and such.

Nine is my favorite doctor and Christopher Eccleston did a fantastic job playing the doctor, I have nothing but love in my heart for him and eminence respect. His amazing acting brought dr who back and I dont think anyone else could have stared it as well as he did.

This was only supposed to be a short post but I guess it turned into something of a love letter to the ninth doctor. Thank you Christopher Eccleston for playing my favorite doctor. Thank you for all the laughs and excellent memories. In an odd way you helped me grow as a person and you definitely shaped my sense of humor.

So here’s my two cents on Crowley’s pre-fall identity. 

I’ve seen some speculating that he’s Raphael, purely based on Crowley’s flippant remark about creating a nebula and the fact that Raphael was one of the archangels that help construct the cosmos. Another alternative theory I’ve seen proposed is that he’s Ramiel/Jeremiel which follows insofar as what the “J” stands for in Anthony J. Crowley, but my take?

He’s Samael.

In Talmudic/Post-Talmudic (Jewish) tradition, Archangel Samael is the serpent in the Garden of Eden who tempts eve, and also the angel who planted the Tree of Life (Knowledge) in order to trick Adam, too. 

This would be enough for me, except there’s more! Samael is supposed to be a demon AND an angel, in one, and represents a middle ground between good and evil. And how is Crowley presented in Good Omens? Morally grey: neither good nor evil. 

Ask yourself why Crowley is the only demon shown with wings in the show? He never really fell, he was just playing his part in the ineffable plan: “get up there and make some trouble”. He’s following orders. God intended for him to fulfil this role. 

He is also identified as a Watcher angel, meaning an earthbound angel, who doesn’t reside in Heaven like his counterparts.

Samael is also associated with fire, which is a recurring motif in the show: from Aziraphale’s bookshop to him standing in hellfire (whilst assuming Aziraphale’s appearance), and furthermore he is in possession of flame-red hair.

That’s all I’ve got, but feel free to add more!

Problem is, in the Judaic lore it seems quite common to address “the enemy” as “the serpent”, and so far, by consulting the same Davidson’s text, I found at least 5 fallen angels bearing the Serpent epithet…

Moreover, Samael or Satan, seems quite established as another name for THE Satan, yeah…that same fellow who lead the fallen angels hosts…

Moreover, the SERAPHIM name itself means “fiery serpents” (Numbers 21 : 6). Dead end.

So, I guess it’s a lost game to find Crowley’s real identity.

Anyway, for the game’s sake, and taking from Supernatural (where they actually tell about the Garden and the Fall of Humanity), I’ve been struck with a doubt, and i checked.

In SPN we have a certain Angel, who was responsible for the safekeeping of the Garden, but in the end it was HIM who was tempted by Lucifer, let him in, and made him tempt Eve as well…so that Michael decided for his eternal punishment and torture.

GADREEL.

So I went checking as well the lore - and this is another case where the SPN writers have taken some liberties.
