Flowers, how they hold so much meaning
The perfect flowers for the occasion, how can I choose?
How can I choose, when there are round red roses?
A romantic staple with a fragrance so floral and fruity
With a meaning so clear as one’s love for another
But with thorns sharp like a vampires tooth;
I fear these red, red roses aren’t right for the occasion.
Oh, how can I choose when there are tall, towering tulips?
A flower fit for a friendship, with a fragrance so faint but fresh
But the colors of this plant; the pale purple petals–
I abhor this poor choice for this occasion!
What about these precious pink peonies?
Representing a passion so powerful;
Sweet peach peonies you only last a week
This light and airy option is not optimal for the occasion
Then there are the inverted indigo irises?
These three petals, the same name as a Greek Goddess–
A symbol of a wisdom long forgotten, and a once loyal friend
These, powdery, woody, musky, and earthy tones
However, these petals hold a power too proud for this occasion
Maybe it should be the mature, multi-colored magnolias?
A meaning with maturity of your nobility;
Carrying such a complex, creamy citrus scent
While these may be fit for a special occasion–
It is not for one as special as this.
What if I chose the circular, singular sunflowers?
Symbolic of serenity and a steadfast connection–
Smelling subtly of citrus or sometimes soily and green
These, known for their seeds–
Are too optimistic for this occasion.
Luckily, there are the light, long lilies!
Representative of rebirth and rejuvenation
Lacking of a fragrance, like where they are left
The white petals will compliment the grays!
These are the flowers fit for my occasion.
Approaching the open box, where my friend now lays
I take note of the once blonde hair–
With those past strikingly blue eyes shut
Rest in peace my friend, may you fly like you did
I finally found flowers that are fit for this funeral.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” she wipes away a tear as she says this, still laughing, “I don’t mean to laugh, I have just never seen something so absurd,” she stops laughing and extends her hand to Liam who is still on his back. Once Liam is on both his feet again, a stony look comes over her face. “Now, what do you need? I have never seen you on the music wing before, so I know you don’t have a class down here,” she follows the demand with a raise of her eyebrow.
“I’m here to talk about Theo,” a serious look crosses over his face, “there’s something going on, and I don’t know what it is, but I do know that I want to help him,” the weird look Rose gives him serves as the opening of the dam. “And I went to Corey, right? Cause he and Theo are like best friends, but Corey didn’t give me much in the way of answers. He did say something about Theo’s dad, but he told me to come to the orchestra room, because then I’d find you. And he said you would know more than him,” he took a breath before continuing, “And I’m not going to lie, I didn’t even know you existed, when Corey said your name I was totally confused, and like I don’t think I’ve ever seen you around school before but you are the best bet I have for answers on what’s going on with Theo.”

"Sorry," he said, biting his lip "I'm babbling again."
The next thing he felt were two strong arms wrapping around him from behind and warm breath tickling his ear.
"Go on," Theo then replied, resting his chin peacefully on his shoulder while still looking at the vase "I like listening to you."
Liam had never loved Theo so much.

Liam’s body went with the motion of the door, but the door swung open with such a ferocity that the doorknob slipped out of his grasp. Which left Liam flailing like an imbecile, his werewolf abilities seemingly not having aiding in his fight with gravity, and landed face first on the floor. He laid there for a couple of seconds when the sound of what sounded like laughter could be heard from above him. He turned on his back and was met with the face of who he could only assume was Rose.
