I only have an 8 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I totally understand. I usually take a nap on those days so I am not even sure it’s worth scheduling yourself for the 8 AM because that two hours I should use for homework is used for napping.

It’s probably not even close to worth it, but at least now we know for next time, right? How are the rest of your classes treating you so far?

Morning classes seemed like such a good idea when I was making my schedule because I figured I’d be done by the afternoon and have the rest of the day to myself for homework and studying, but it’s barely a week in and the thought of waking up for another 8 am class makes me cringe. Nobody knows a way to sleep through a class and still retain the information do they?

Middle of March is still totally impressive! That's like a solid seventy five days there, you're just a hop skip and a jump away from triple digits. Aw, your parents aren't fans? You could always download it onto your phone or something and watch it away from prying eyes. Well, actually my mom's the best, since she's the one showing me how to prepare said snacks, but thank you.

They probably wouldn't have minded if I had watched it in moderation; I think it was the fact that it turned into a daily occurrence that drove them over the edge to DVD theft. I could...this is a good point. But is rewatching the same movie over and over really what I want to do every day? She may be teaching you, sure - and she is also great - but whose idea was it in the first place? I’m giving credit for thoughtfulness here.

I’m so pumped for senior year and the fact that me and my besties all have the same classes, it makes the AP Calc on my schedule look like child’s play. This is going to be the best year ever!

I’m afraid to like… Google what kind of things the FBI has hidden at their headquarters, I don’t want to get tracked by the government and have them think I’m the one up to something fishy. And I’m sure asking Ryder or Jake what the heck they were doing wouldn’t do much good – Ryder swears he’s not that involved so he might not even know, and I can guess with 99% certainty that Jake wouldn’t tell me anything. Curfew doesn’t really bug me, since I’m always perfectly happy hanging out at home with mom. I guess this year at school’s going to be pretty awkward, though, with Tina and Jake and Ryder all not exactly my biggest fan. Can I just skip senior year and graduate now? I could still go there and drop off pamphlets when I needed to…

There’s the obvious stuff like criminal records, and I guess also files on people who have been publicly critical of the government, but all of that is accessible through FOIA requests. I don’t know what level of investigation it would take to land on a government watchlist, so I completely approve of you not trying to find out. Hm, I guess I was thinking more about the communal effect of stricter curfews than the personal cost but maybe it wouldn’t be that bad. Tina will come around...eventually. One way or another she’ll realize she’s not being fair. Hopefully it’ll be before your senior year starts. What would you do instead? If there was a way you could skip out on senior year and graduate early?

It would if you ordered enough ice cream and stockpiled it for next time. You’d end up with a freezer full of ice cream, but I don’t really see a down side there.

Doesn’t it? I try to be healthy, but it’s basically just so that I don’t feel guilt when I have one of her cookies afterwards! Oh! You’re good, I appreciate you. Yeah… I’m just really glad they didn’t seem to find whatever they were looking for. If they’d actually managed to steal anything, I can only imagine what kind of laws they’d be trying to put into effect now to keep mutants under closer supervision. I guess so… I haven’t really kept in touch with him much. When he left we weren’t really on the best terms we’ve ever been on.

For sure. And it’s a worthwhile sacrifice for a good cause, obviously. No problem; conveniently pretending to forget a conversation ever happened is just one of the services I offer. I wonder what they were hoping to find, though. I mean, they obviously had something specific in mind but it’s the FBI. They have files on everything. The curfews we have now would be nothing in comparison to the way things could have been if they’d succeeded, I’m sure. That’s true. He’s been pretty quiet most of the summer and I can’t really blame you for not seeking him out to keep in touch.

I love talking about food so that that tends to happen to other people a lot. Especially people I don’t know that well. It’s a wonder that no one’s ended up charging me for their Weight Watchers dues yet.
