“ i’m sorry that i dragged you out here when the weather’s been so cold, ” she began, taking in a deep breath, then blowing it out to watch as it painted against the sky. “ sheesh ! i can even see my breath. we’ll head in soon, i promise. ” walking towards the the ledge of the rooftop, she blew her old, spherical friend a kiss goodnight, then turned to face her guest ; offering her arm for linking. “ don’t make fun of me, but it’s kind of a weird nightly ritual of mine to say goodnight to the moon ; i’ve done so since i was little. ” shrugging her shoulders, she felt a yawn come on, and instead of concealing it, she let it roar out ; chuckling as it ended. “ i’m so sorry. promotions have been really messing with my sleep schedule. i’m sure you know how it is. i’m glad that you decided to come, though. when we get back in, what kind of tea would you like me to make us ? or, would you prefer hot chocolate ? i’m delighted with either option ! ”
It wasn’t often that he visited the homes of others outside of those of fellow Impulse members. It, of course, was nothing personal, but he typically preferred to meet with people in a more neutral location. If a place was rather unknown to both of them, he found, it made for a more exciting interaction. Being at one’s home, however, meant that the guest would possible be on edge for even just a little while, which was typically how he found himself for the first hour or so.
The night was cold yet beautiful, so much so that it pulled a smile across his face. He’d always enjoyed winter for the way it brought people together, and although some preferred to stay to themselves, that most certainly had never been his way of going about things.
Dark eyes watched the moon intently, as if waiting for it to surprise them in some way, but of course She simply smiled back at them.
As Risol spoke, Charoen stood up from his half-hunched position against the railing, nodding slowly in agreement.
“A little cold never hurt anyone, though,” the rapper answered, smiling as he took the offered arm, linking his own with hers. Reentering the apartment, the woman yawned, and Charoen couldn’t help but chuckle. “Don’t worry, I completely understand. We do we ever get a regular schedule anyway, huh?”
