Lucifer no longer misses God ; he found his liberation in the glory of chaos, his own completion with himself– no one else.
Lucifer is in shambles and all of creation can see this.
It was always His true punishment to be cast out and looked upon in His shame. To be seen when He no longer is the most beloved Heavenly Prince, when He sobs His defeat, when He feels pain as more than a word He could never comprehend. He is humiliated like a child beaten before its playmates.
He doesn't seem to revel in His agony as Satan does. He is not the beloved who longs for Heavenly torment as yet another holy bruise meant to fade to purple shades of love.
Lucifer seems, instead, to still grasp desperately to the innocence so envious of angels. He is a pampered little songbird set free from a gilded cage only to find that His wings had always been clipped between the caresses of His master’s great fingers. Existence has become only pain and He has never experienced one more great than to see His master’s attention divided from Him alone. Was He not crowned as perfection and delight within God’s eyes?
He lays now against the ground and grips it between His elegant hands, grasping the earth and writhing against it as He sobs. Ruby rings quickly cake with the filth of creation and pearls darken around His slender wrists as He pounds His hands against the cursed Eden. In a moment of respite He inhales shakily, breathy, wanting and pitiful. It is a beautiful noise as He rises to settle on His knees. His pale robes are burnt by divinity and stained with heavenly blood, and now something so mundane as dirt mingles with that.
A wing the color of the morning sky shades Him from as much gaze as it might. It is weak and broken and it trembles as feathers float to the ground soft, downy and glorious as the first dawn. He is a picture of perfection, temptation, and promises. He is a harem pet, raised on a diet of pomegranates, wine, and far too much love. Would it not be truly divine retribution to sully His beauty? To make Him as the Nations which lay fallen by His hand?
The angel feels the heavy gaze of demons, hot with blasphemous desires, impudent with their stares. They are worse than humanity, yet far more desperately honest, for no curse awaits the demon who ‘knows’ a visiting angel. No greater damnation exists for pondering what it might manage to encourage passed His heavenly lips.
Lucifer holds out a delicate little hand to one; all long fingers and opalescent nails that glimmer like the moon off of freshly fallen snow. That is the only invitation needed and He sighs a soft little noise, turns a girlish cheek when the demon’ lips are close to His. Even His breath is sweet; painfully addicting like honey and opium seeping through the air. And then there is nothing but agony as those perfect nails dig through the flesh on its throat, and His pretty little face is unchanged in apparent innocence.
When He is finished He licks blood from His fingers like He has snuck frosting from a cake, runs a red stained palm across His baby soft face to wipe away tears. Slowly He rises to His feet; slowly and surely. He looks out across the remaining demons with the same sweet and pained gaze, but this time none of them approach Him with such audacity.
Perhaps, it will be still better to be a King than a Prince.
been considering luciferianism recently
i feel like the issue with a lot of atheistic luciferians is that they focus on the aspect of pride in the character of lucifer rather than the aspect of liberation and one who would fight against the oppressive rulers above them
i guess if i focused nearly entirely on the second aspect itd still be luciferianism
pride in the self is a mistake that creates self doubt. viewing yourself realistically as an ever-changing person while simultaneously viewing others in the same way rather than viewing yourself as a god above all others… it’s laveyan satanism at that point, really
and we all know laveyan satanists are straight up garbage
i suppose luciferianism can really be separated into multiple different groups if this logic is in place. if i were to consider myself a luciferian, id personally shy away from the aspect of pride and desire for power in the idolization of lucifer but rather what the character actually did in the long run - that is, rebelling against a tyrannical ruler
but then there are laveyan satanist esque luciferians who really just seem like prideful pieces of garbage who feel as if they deserve to be placed on a pedestal - technically MORE like lucifer. so what exactly could you call the difference in these two? would it just be like… luciferianism-lite? pseudoluciferianism
in simplest terms, i would shy away from the prideful aspects in the general belief set of luciferianism. im one who is naturally a person who cares for others. it isnt in my personality to be prideful and resent others who i view as below my own level. rebellion against corruption however, is part of myself. that part is what i admire about the character of lucifer - nothing else. so what would this be? there’s no real answer here
This reply got really long, but what I did in my practice was to replace the prideful aspect with something closer to self-betterment/self-help. For me, it was never a matter of being “better” than others, it was more of wanting to become “better” in the healing sense of the word.
As a person, I’m full of doubt and self-deprecation and guilt, and having confidence is something that I personally struggle with. When I realized that the prideful aspect most Luciferians have would not work with me, I changed it to be something that would. I don’t want to be someone who is prideful and who puts others down, I want to be someone who will help them back up again because I know what being treated horribly feels like. I’m extremely empathetic; simply seeing someone upset, in pain, struggling… it makes me want to help because I remember times when I felt or experienced similar things.
And as I got older, I also realized that is something I should be doing with myself too. I don’t want to be on a pedestal, I just want to be someone who I am okay with living with for the duration of my life.
And caring for others, helping them, donating, doing simple things that will make them feel slightly better, those things also make me feel better about myself. It becomes a circle of positive reinforcement. It’s so much more fulfilling than being the type of Luciferian who lords themselves over everyone else. That helps no one, and, to me anyways, does actually not seem very Luciferian in nature, considering that Lucifer is also a figure who brought knowledge and light (whatever your personal definition of ‘light’ is). Would you rather step on and kick someone who might need help because you think you are better than them, or would you extend a helping hand and offer whatever is in your ability to offer? And sometimes the latter itself becomes a form of rebellion against oppression.
I’m also an extremely Theistic Luciferian; I admire Lucifer and what he stands for, and I can’t even imagine worshiping anyone else at this point. But the replacement of “pride” with “self-betterment” also comes partially from me not feeling worthy enough to be a follower of Lucifer. I realize this is, perhaps, something more specific to me than other Luciferians (who lack this kind of shame and find this contradictory to their path), but I find it quite motivating because if I can’t be strong for myself, I will be strong for Him instead. And those are the types of thoughts which keep me going on days where I’m the one who might need that helping hand.
A Few Witchy PSAs!
-There ARE Satanic Witches, whether you want us here or not. -Satanism isn’t just atheistic. Some people DO practice THEISTIC SATANISM! -A lot of Satanists DO worship Satan. It’s ignorant to say that Satanists don’t worship Satan. Emphasize which sect your talking about. -It may be reassuring to people of other belief systems to say that not all Witches worship Satan, but you don’t get the right to erase us by saying that Witches in general do not include Satan in our practice. -Don’t antagonize people who include the Devil in their beliefs. Not everyone is just trying to be an edgy teen. A lot of people are serious about it, including myself.
Keep on Witching! 🔮😈
Just feel like this needed to be reblogged again. When I posted it I had seen people bashing Satanism and recently, even though it has gotten a lot better, I’ve seen an influx of it again. Just remember, everyone is entitled to what they believe. Don’t bash others beliefs.
“Lucifer did not fall from Heaven. He leaped. He swore an oath to Himself and the Old Gods that He would act as the Great Liberator. And so He has. He has freed us from the oppressive grip of the Tyrant. He taught us the ways of Magick and the secrets of the Cosmos. He is the True God, the Teller of Truth. The Morning Star. The Light Bearer. The Witch Father. And I love Him dearly. And so together we are bound. Master and Witch, together in the Divine and Magickal, Carnal and Natural.”

“to be a witch” falsehoods
there are a lot of misconceptions going around lately on what someone needs to be a witch, i just want to clear some up.
you do not need:
fancy tools - or any tools at all, really. all you need is yourself and your intent. sure, tools that fit your aesthetic are nice, but you don’t need them. if you have the ability to buy and you want to, there’s no stopping you, but please don’t feel like you have to go out and buy yourself an etsy broom or a cauldron. and don’t stress yourself out over making one either! they are but trappings.
appearance - in witchy aesthetic photos, it’s usually a slim, white girl with long hair. and that lack of a more diverse representation can give the impression that you need to look and be a certain way, but please know it is untrue. it does not matter what your race, weight, hair, or anything looks like.
aesthetic - you don’t need to dress “like a witch”. a witch can look like anything. if you want to indulge in the black cat, black clothes look, fine, but you don’t need to confine yourself to it if it’s not your thing, you can look like whatever you want to.
gender - there are some in the community that will fight tooth and nail to make it seem you have to be a cis female to call yourself a witch. don’t listen to those terfs. anyone can be a witch, regardless of gender. male, non-binary, agender, trans, demi, etc.
black cat - you don’t need a black cat. you don’t need to have a familiar either. those are unique relations that should not be forced to happen
dark, mystical attitude - you don’t need to suddenly start talking like chaucer or put effort into having an air of mystery. you don’t need to be holier than thou, or act like you know it all. witchcraft is a journey that takes time to learn.
cursing - no, you don’t need to curse. but you don’t need to shame someone for cursing either.
on a spiritual path - witchcraft does not have to be spiritual! you can practice magic without having to worry about being “spiritual enough”, because each craft is unique and deeply personal, you don’t need to force it to be something that you’re not invested in.
religious - there are many witches that wonder where the power comes from if they don’t call upon a god. the power can come from you. you do not need to devote yourself to a god
wiccan - wicca is not the only way to do witchcraft, it is only one way of practicing magic. there are many people who think the only way to do witchcraft is to be wiccan, but they are misinformed. if you do not want to work with wiccan influences or traditions, you do not have to.
initiated - some practices, some traditions, initiation is needed. however, to be a witch in general, you don’t need to go through any ritual to prove yourself one. be wary of those who insist you do, they are often trying to take advantage of new witches.
straight/cis - some traditions you’ll encounter have homophobic roots/influences. while it is discouraging, you dont have to listen to those, or you can work with others to rework phobic traditions
a “natural” witch - some people will claim to have “witch’s blood” or “the flame”, meaning witchcraft has been in their families for generations. this does not make them superior or more of a witch than you. anyone who wants to be a witch can, no matter their birth circumstances.
labelled - a lot of witches label their craft, “herb witch”, “space witch”, “storm witch” etc. you can be as many as you want, or none if it pleases you. you do not need to label your craft however. some people can’t put their craft in a box.
td;lr, you do need:
to want to be a witch
your intent
that’s it! happy casting!
How To: Make Ink from Flowers
This is by far the most abundant ink I have in my house is that of inks made from flowers. This is the easiest and fastest inks to be made and require the least amount of materials to produce brilliant and soft colors. The inks from flowers can be either stunning and dark, or a lighter and more pale like one would expect from watercolor. Flower inks don’t last as long as inks produced from berries or nuts, and being left in the sunlight will fade their colors faster, but since this ink is so fast and easy to make, it can always be in supply. The shelf life of this ink is about a month if kept in the dark, but this is dependent on the color itself.
Materials:
Glass containers (preferably mason jars or drinking cups)
A pestle or other wooden tool (to crush the flowers with)
Boiling water
Cheese cloth
Rubbing Alcohol or 100 Proof Vodka
Glass storage container
Optional: Gum Arabic
Steps:
First, gather the flower petals of choice for the color desired (note some flower ink isn’t the same color as the flower petals).
Take these petals and crush them into the glass container, stuffing as many as you can in 1/3rd of the container as possible. The more crushed the petals, the more color will come out.
Fill the container with just enough boiling water to barely cover the flower petals. Do not fill the container, as this will dull the ink.
Set this container aside to brew overnight (I actually leave mine in the window to brew for 24 hours).
Strain the flower petals from the liquid, pouring the colored ink into a clean glass storage container.
Add 1 part alcohol to the container and shake gently (do not shake hard enough to form bubbles).
Optional: You may add Gum Arabic to give the ink a thicker consistency.
A recommendations on flowers, I have found that roses and other soft petaled flowers make a stronger ink.

No... Just no.
i just hate that I can walk into any “witchy” place in any town and only find tacky statues of angels, chakra candles and bloody self help books and doors for faeries which I cant stress how dangerous these are. I cant buy bones or dried animal parts and 7 day candles like I can in Mexico where the real stuff happens. I cant get chaos magic books or even regular graveyard dirt or even a simple black skull candle. Some places don’t even stock herbs or only have 3 species!
Check out Mexican grocery stores, they have about half of the stuff you are looking for tons of herbs and seven day candles and if you connect with the owner you can ask for other supplies they might have in the back.
I have just quietly shopped at a local Mexican grocery for about a year now to pick up herbs and candles and one day they saw me leaving without having found what I wanted. The grocer asked me what I wanted, I needed cinnamon sticks–she went to the back and got me some really big early a foot long sticks! bagged them up for me. My dad cut them on the saw for me.
The same applies for the new age stores, if you shop there for awhile you might get to know the owner and be able to ask for different things, just ease into it with gentle requests before you ask about more rare stuff like bones.
As for the more specialized things, they are just plain hard to find. Chaos magic books are at occult bookstores or online. Herbs are at stores that just sell herbs or natural foods stores. Graveyard dirt, it’s at the graveyard. Black skull candles are around pretty much only at Halloween at craft stores or those pop up Spirit Halloween stores.
Ps why are cutesy fairy doors dangerous? To me they are just charming and decorative toys for kids.
I figure they’re dangerous if you don’t know what to do when a fairy comes through or don’t realize what can constitute a “fairy,” but that’s the case with pretty much all things fae. But this is a way you can learn! (And also learn to… ward doors, including toy doors.) Danger is not bad IMO, I find it educational.
I have a little “fairy home” type statue in my house and it’s specifically so fae can feel at home. I give them a space and then they don’t have to make their own. But I actively manage that sort of thing… others don’t.
Is this just a worry? Or something that happens a lot. My brother in law makes these as his hobby and puts them in terrariums. I have never heard anyone experience anything with them beyond this is a cute toy or decoration. They don’t seem to me to have any connection to actual fair folk.
I’ve heard others state the worry, like, well, OP up there for one. Myself, anything that comes into my house is probably going to get woo in some way, and I don’t really collect anything for a purely decorative purpose, so if there’s a fairy door in something I get it because I expect fairies will use the door once it’s in my house. In a magical person’s house, especially depending on how things are arranged on the astral side and what the person’s practice is, quite a lot of mundane things become magical purely by exposure. For a nonmagical person, with an object like this I’d only expect results if they were also very superstitious, which invites its own level of phenomena.
(And often, I think that people who are very superstitious due to things happening around them, and insist they aren’t a magical person… are actually magical people in denial.)
Similarly, I get garden statuary partially for entity work, even if it’s a mundane gargoyle statue from Fred Meyer. Once it’s in my garden, it’s going to become something more, and with little conscious action on my own part. That’s how the magical and spiritual have always worked for me and in my practice.

Reading up on sea witch spells and seeing people suggest putting offerings in bottles and letting the sea carry then away.
This upsets me.
It’s littering. Please leave your offerings on something that’s not harmful to the environment. A sea shell, rock or even just on the beach. Please don’t use anything that could cause harm to the ocean or its inhabitants. Thank you!
Not to hijack, but all offerings in natural spaces should be planned to be safe for the environment it’s going into. This is why I’m partial to offerings of water or other consumable fluids–if it’s safe to go in my belly, it’s probably safe to pour over some plants.
Yes. Stop telling people to bury things in jars, particularly . Bury things in (unbleached) paper towels, or the insides of bell peppers. And don’t bury things that won’t degrade. There are so many ways to do witchcraft that doesn’t involve burying things that won’t decompose!! If you can, opt to recycle the item, or better yet, just change out all your spell ingredients for stuff that is eco-friendly and able to rot if buried. Srsly.
THANK YOU!
to add: making bowls or balls of ice to bury or to be carried awayby the sea. Use unbleached paper towels or banana peels(if it’s safe) to write your spell on, etc. There are many safe ways to do magic without littering.
You can also use cabbage leaves and cotton kitchen string in place of a jar, or write your spell on a piece of un-coated (like not metallic, etc.) paper and fold it into an origami creature because the paper will degrade
Eco friendly witchery tips. :)
*GESTICULATES LOUDLY AT THIS ENTIRE POST*
Always reblog eco friendly witch tips and tricks
The only time I ever bury a jar or bottle is when I plan to go an retrieve it within a week. And even then it’s rare. Paper is so much easier.
