I spent the day talking about make-ups, art, mugs, the future and all that with Diane. We also found this cute coffee shop near her place. Overall, I had fun.

• My face the whole sem 😂 • I’ve had korean food for three straight days. All I want right now is buffalo wings. • Date with Melisse before she goes back to Canada!! Missed her so much! • Paper flower bouquet for a school requirement 🌷 • Sadness is getting your chocolates stepped on and ran over by cars.
Last APEC Holidays, I tagged along with Francis’ workmates in Ilocos Region. I’ve been wanting to visit the place for so long, so when Francis told me that his workmates are planning to go to Ilocos, and that I was also invited, I undoubtedly affirmed to the invitation right away!
We were on the road as early as 3am, and damn! It was such a long ass ride just like in Sagada. Also, I’ve been traveling to La Union since I was still young but I never knew that it has number of towns, and each are long than what I expected. We almost got lost. Haha.
We reached Ilocos Sur at 1pm (Yeap! 10 hours of travel to Ilocos Sur!) and our first stop was the Bell Tower. You don’t need to pay an entrance fee but you may give a donation. The view in the first picture is what you’ll see when you reach the top, and it’s the only decent scenery once you are there. The third picture is one of the spots inside the church. I’m so happy when I was able to touch Apo Caridad’s foot when we went inside to pray.
Our second stop was Baluarte. There’s really not so much to see in this place since there are less animals that you’ll see except for the fascinating museum of Chavit Singson’s preserved animals which he proudly killed. I am so amazed with the number of animals in there especially the elephant!
Calle Crisologo was our last destination on our first day in Ilocos region. I thought that all the houses in Vigan were structured like the old houses, but were not to my dismay except of course to the famous Calle Crisologo. It was such a right timing to visit it in the afternoon since it’s a long street, and there were few tourists. The best part of the visit is the ice cream. Haha. You’ll need it as you stroll the street since it was sort of hot. The place is really nice in spite of the number of stores that sells pasalubong in almost every corner.
We got home around 10pm because Vanessa’s place is in Laoag, and the places are so far from each. It was also a hard drive because there were no street lights for most of the parts in Ilocos Norte. We rerouted, and asked for directions for so many times because most of us were first timers.
After 19 hours in the road, we were warmly welcomed by her Mom with dinner served! It was a memorable travel because it also beat the travel time spent when I visited Sagada. So, there goes day 1 of Ilocos trip!
Hope you enjoyed reading!
Progress
I admit, I am the worst blogger ever and I have a lot of adventures that were not posted, and a lot of works that were not shared. Well, if you’re on your last year of schooling, that is the perfect excuse of not blogging, right? No? Oh well.
Three more weeks to go and this semester is over and I just can’t wait.
Anyway, I have the perfect time to update this dumpsite since 1) I don’t want to study for my two exams tomorrow, 2) stable internet here at the library, 3) I have to. So, I gathered some of Instagram photos (from FB) to share it with you.

How do you turn pain into something beautiful?

Change (v.) make or become different.
This week has been pretty chill for me. I just realised last night that I only have two months left till my birthday month, since May will end very soon. Once again, time flied too fast for me. Anyway, realising that I will be turning Twenty in two months made me think about my change and growth for the past ten years.
To be honest, I cannot remember a lot of memories but I clearly remember the things that made me who I am today. Most of them are hardships, I swear. Those hardships made me appreciate the good things more than I should, and I am very happy that life is getting better for my family. I thank God for that, but getting older and being mature has a lot of difficulty too.
Change made it hard for me to blog spontaneously unlike before. I became afraid that people might use my words against me and judge me because of my mistakes. I believe that internet is dangerous world too because there are a lot of people that can attack me for petty reasons, and I am really scared for that. But sharing my adventures is one of the things that I enjoy, and I know a lot of people too. I don’t know if sharing these thoughts are too personal, but I know that even though I am changing, there are things in life that I would never want to change. Those things are sharing my adventures and how beautiful this world is. :)

Been very inactive lately leaving this poor blog unupdate for quite long time.
Nothing really has changed in my daily routine. I wake up at 7:40 AM and goes to work at 9:00 AM. We eat lunch at 12:00 nn and goes back to our station at 1:00 PM, but i always resume work at 2:00 PM, and go home at 7:30PM. Watch TV with mom until we both feel sleepy. That’s my daily routine. Most of the time, nothing in between.
Nothing has been crossed out in my bucketlist, none has been added as well. No new acquaintance. No new books read (but I’m planning to read If I stay and Where she went this weekend.) I can’t remember what new movies I watched in TV. No canvass used. No color paint wasted. My pen and notebooks rested, as well as my shutter.
For the past few days, my life has turned from vivid to just plain black and white. I want new adventures. I want to go to some new places. I want to enjoy new foods. I want new memories to remember. New reason to smile, to laugh, to think about. I guess, right now, my life is in hiatus. But I don’t any have any idea when will it come back.
First Love + From Where I Stand
I consider the plants and flowers as my first photography subject love. What’s not to love? Especially when you’re starting with photography, you’ll try to explore more on the macro photography (well for me). Hence, the flowers and plants are actually a good subject for that!
If you’ve noticed, I am also inlove with from where I stand photos. It’s not really that new but not all people actually appreciate it. I’m trying to take better good FWIS photos ♥
I missed doing my weekly recaps so much! Once I get my shots sorted out, I’ll try to update more regularly 😊 Btw, have I told you guys? The awesome Ayel of thesenseofwaking is my blockmate! We’ve been online friends for about 2 years now. She’s such a free spirit and I’m really grateful that she’s one of the people I spend most of my time with this semester. If you haven’t already, go check out her blog!!
Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend ahead! I’ll see you guys again real soon! ❤️

"The point is that when I see a sunset or a waterfall or something, for a split second it’s so great, because for a little bit I’m out of my brain, and it’s got nothing to do with me. I’m not trying to figure it out, you know what I mean? And I wonder if I can somehow find a way to maintain that mind stillness." - Chris Evans
