Any vampires?
Heyyo! Koala here.
Thanks for your ask, friend. To answer your question; our folklore time takes place in quite primitive times, with only few great human cities and the rest being smaller communities like villages at most.
Humans aren’t very healthy, and keeping their low numbers in mind, our vampires don’t show up until later future.
In one of our newer timelines, where we explore our modern world where the magical creatures we tell tales of in books are mostly long gone, with some discrete few having stayed alive in the shadows of deep forests. Or melting in amongst humans.
Two vampires in that time line are
Noah
And Venus
The idea for this species, is that they are mutated, unaging humans.
They have all basic human functions, like eating and sleeping, with an additional organ that needs human blood to keep the body running.
They can trick their bodies into drinking animal blood, but it is extremely foul and not a common practice, because of the taste and in rare cases the body rejecting it.
They do not die from sunlight, only burn like lobsters, and are allergic to garlic.
Basically, theyre the lamest vampires you’ll ever see.
They’re just normal dudes with keen senses, an ability to manipulate human perception and a general knack for being bad at dying.
Their pain don’t start to register until they are out of danger a couple minutes or hours after they’re hurt.
Unless its something from the one thing that can kill this version of a vampire, good old stakes. This is also extended to anything made of wood. so if you really want to do some damage, give them a splinter or hit them with a wooden spoon.
Some drawings of Red’s Naga equivalent

Aiza shares the desert with Venus, the second largest naga yet known. She really wants some more land and attacks him often, but he’s far from a sore winner about it.
-nars
new naga, Aiza. she’s a very very small sidewinder naga with an even shorter temper. She’s got jade as her precious material.
-nars
there was an anime where one of the characters reminded us of astika, so i had to draw him speaking one of the lines.

here’s the snakey all fed and happy.
