Elizabeth, oh my god. Go to your room.
âHow did you mess up your laptop so bad it doesnât work after doing that?â
Hm... well I spilled juice on it a while ago...
Boo! You are no fun, Noah!
[gasps] What?! Iâm the epitome of fun!
Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. WHAT DO YOU DO? YOU SWIM, SWIM, SWIM.
Swimming wonât fix my computer, love.
âThen thatâs all my expertise⌠How about unplugging it and plugging it back in?â
âI am the kind of unplugging it and plugging it back in again.â
Gaia tried her best to keep her giggles quiet, failing for the most part. Tilting her head back to look up at him as he spoke, Gaia lifted her shoulders as she tilted her head slightly to the side. âWell, at least theyâre a good time and still legal even if theyâre frowned upon.â, she nodded trying to add a positive twist to things. âThey really are quite horrid. Iâm actually kind of surprised how long it took them to notice that we were even on that table.â, she laughed setting her shoes on the ground beside before patting his stomach gently.
âMaybe they need new glasses,â he snickered, wrapping his arms around her waist. He peeked over her head, still a bit paranoid that the guards would find them. Not that he cared if they were kicked out, but Gaia probably didnât want it on her record. âShould we sneak back in?â
âHow much odder can she get? I mean, not liking pancakes is probably the oddest thing Iâve ever heard about someone.â, she laughed.
âYouâd be surprised.â
Did you run some anti-virus programs?
I have an autorun one... but I guess it hasnât been working.
[laughs] Yes, a LifeAlert device will work.
Awesome!
Iâm going to apologize, alright?
Okay.
âHave you tried updating it with the restart?â
âThatâs why it shut off, man. I was trying to update it, and it just blacked out.â
Thirteenth times the charm.
No, Mar, I think thereâs something wrong with it.
Well, what are you waiting for? Do it.
But I spent a lot of money on it!
Smiling, Gaia shrugged her shoulders before sitting up and resting against the headboard. âWell, maybe sheâs the only sane one and the rest of us are weird people.â, she wiggled her eyebrows jokingly.
âI highly doubt that,â he chuckled before sitting up to face her. âSheâs weird in a lot of ways, not just in pancake ways.â
Gaia laughed as she grabbing his hand as she pulled him out of the building with her, taking her shoes off once they were outside and stopped running. âWell maybe that wasnât the brightest idea.â, she laughed shaking her head before turning to face him once again. âFun. But not very smart.â, she noted.
Noah couldn't help but laugh as he dragged her behind a tree, ducking out of sight of the two security guards running past them. âThatâs how most of my ideas end up being,â he half-whispered, his eyes glinting in the streetlights. âI canât believe they ran right past us! Terrible security, really. They need to hire better people,â the boy continued to whisper, even though the two guards had run way ahead of them.Â
No, not yet.
I think it might be a good idea. But if you donât really feel it, donât fake it.
I was pissed off and I wasnât thinking straight.
Obviously. Did you apologize?
