A colony of cats lives deep in the forests of Finland, invisible to those who the spirit of the forest hasn't taken in.

It is said that by following a magpie you can get out of the forest's cover, but why would anyone want to leave the care of the God?

Hii! With these recent pages I’ve been reminded of much I love your backgrounds and colors and textures and idk just—vibes? I guess? in your artwork. I love how so much is suggested even when it’s not explicitly drawn; I wish I could draw like that and not have to struggle over details. Every single page has just been eye candy, I really love the line work as well, and I’m super excited for what’s in store!

Generally speaking I am very slow at drawing so I have tried to find ways to speed up the process, one of them being the vague backgrounds.

(And honestly the world kinda looks like blotches of colour to me when I'm not wearing my glasses...which is often...)

if i had a nickel for every finnish cat cult webcomic i had an amber tortoiseshell oc for id have two nickels

first image, top: wanderer, cream rosetted tabby with a white belly and green eyes. trans woman but keeps her mouth shut. wandered off as a young child and got attacked by something, hence the name. barely tolerated and used as a cautionary tale. dies after her daughter is born.

first image, bottom: autumnfall, amber tortoiseshell with blue-almost-purple eyes. wife of wanderer, remarried to silvertongue after her death. lesbian and truly loved wanderer, barely tolerates silvertongue and the son she has with him. obviously favors her daughter with wanderer.

second image: littlefox (has a more official name, but little fox is what wanderer called her), tortoiseshell with bright green eyes. wanderer and autumnfalls daughter who has conflicted feelings about her family. close with silvertongue much to autumnfalls dismay.

not pictured:

silvertongue, brown tabby with green eyes. a charming speaker that is well liked. close with wanderer before her death and married autumnfall to keep autumn and fox safe.

daybreaker, amber ginger with blue eyes. autumnfall and silvertongues son. named for being the "new start autumnfall needs". a bit spoiled by the larger community.

apologies if the lore doesnt quite line up with canon, im basing this off what i know now

You could make it three nickels by making an amber tortoiseshell oc for a third finnish cat cult webcomic, Stay On Track (assuming the other comic you are referring to is Jumalanpelko)

And also I have a question that popped in my head. I know you just answered all the Tumblr stuff so I'm sorry to be a bother but how would cats with hetachromia be seen in the cult

About heterochromia in the cult:

I don't think there is a clear consensus among the cult about it. Some might see it as a blessing, some might believe it's a sign of evil, some do not place any significance on it.

Depends on the cat too. If the cat is a bit of a troublemaker, the others will more easily assign negative meaning to heterochromia.
