Hello! I love the concept of your roleplay, and I am very excited to see it open! I just have one question - if the character is from a series where multiple timelines or endings happen, is it possible for them to remember events from at least two of those separate universes? Thank you!

thank you!! the short answer is yes -- if there are alternate endings and such from your series (or if there are re-dos, etc, such as neon genesis evangelion or fullmetal alchemist) then it's up to you whether your character remembers just one of the universes, or bits and pieces of some/all. we're pretty much giving you guys discretion as to how you want the memories to work; if you want to space them out over a long period of time or slam a bunch on your characters at once, so all of this is basically up to you.

ahhh i am def joining this site once i find some animated spirits i'd like to rp!! but i had some questions... what type of animated spirits will be allowed? will things such as old nick cartoons count? or disney/pixar? will animal characters be allowed to be any race we wish? are we allowed to play white characters as a different race if we'd like to? & is gender-bending allowed? ((sorry if these have been asked before D:))

1. pretty much any kind of animation is allowed save for pornographic material, so yes those things will definitely count! 

2. generally yes, but there are some exceptions. for example, if you're making a character from the lion king, we'd ask that you use a black playby rather than a white. the same goes for other animal characters from an area that has a particular culture/ethnicity to it. if you have specific examples you can definitely ask!

3. we probably will be more lenient with white characters being portrayed as a different race since white characters are particularly prevalent in roleplay and media, so generally as long as you can still find a playby with physical similarities, go for it.

4. we ask that characters remain true to their canon in this respect, since we are trying to remain as true to the original context as possible!

also a good tip for finding face claims would be to search through tumblr tags! you can typically look them up by nationality (ie: japanese / korean / chinese model, actress, actor) and go from there. if you still have trouble by the time of the site's opening, we'll have face claim suggestion and help boards up for everyone to use.

before i start promoting your site, i need to know one thing: do you guys encourage diversity or do you accept canonically characters of color being whitewashed?

we definitely encourage diversity! whitewashing is absolutely against the rules; if a character has a canon race we ask that face claims stick to it.

hey there everyone!

our site opening is even closer - hopefully in just a week we'll be open to the public! the site skin is finished, all of our locations are done, and most of our important threads and boards have been set up. with all of that said, it might be a good idea to start deciding who you're going to play when we open!

so starting now (july 3rd) until 6pm cst tomorrow (july 4th) if you reblog our previously posted site ad you get the option to make one reserve. you can choose to reserve either a spirit or a face claim. also note that you'll only be able to make a single reserve regardless of how many times you reblog. reserves will last a week from the site's opening date! also, please make sure you check staff reserves before making any decisions.

fortune's fools is an upcoming animated panfandom spirits site that is in need of a staff member! the site is nearing completion, but considering our real life workload, we do really need an extra hand, especially once the site opens!

we're primarily looking for someone with a reasonable amount of free time on their hands, who enjoys advertising, reading applications, updating claims, etc. someone who doesn't like seeing things sitting around! no need for graphics or coding experience, etc. all you need to apply is the desire to write and be a part of our team!
