Shenhua burst through with such speed and incisiveness, made the tianjin defence look like stone cold statues! Could have been more goals in another fine performance.
With Guangzhou diving their way to yellow cards at one end - shanghai came straight back down to show them how it’s really done. Great result Away from home.
Great start to the season for Shenhua! 6 goals, a hat trick for Henrique, and all under the lights and rain at HongKou Stadium!

To our followers and future followers: We have some exciting updates regarding Ye Hongxing! We have the pleasure to announce that Beijing-based female artist Ye Hongxing currently has an exhibition in San Diego, California, with works from an artist residency she recently completed at the Lux Art Institute. After working in the studio for a month, she is now showcasing the results of her experience at the Institute until November 1, 2014.
The exhibition is dedicated to her unique large-scale collages on canvas, for which she is famous for using stickers and crystals. Representing fantastical figures, religious imagery, and tropical flora and fauna, she succeeds in juxtaposing traditional Chinese items and kitsch images, as can be seen in the pictures above. The impressive amount of brightly-colored sequins and glass beads creates a multilayered world that blurs the boundaries between the real and imaginary.
Therefore, we are very proud to be also showcasing some of her recent works at Art+ Shanghai Gallery! Titled The Fantasy Factory, her successful solo show is running until October 26, 2014, at our gallery space in the heart of Shanghai’s powerful North Bund arts district. To support her work, feel free to like or reblog this post on Tumblr!
The phrase 'textbook header' is ofter bandied about, but it was certainly an apt description for Leroy Fers fine effort. All straight lines and right angles in true Dutch 'de stijl'!
A bit dissapointed for Messi and Argentina, but quite simply, the story is not about them. All credit to a german team that had a great tournament and added another milestone to their rich history.
Maths is not the strong point here at Naiyo projects - but that didn't lessen the appreciation of Thomas Muellers' laser like precision, as he threaded the ball through a crowded box, and into the bottom right corner. Absolutely clinical
