PSA !!

      Alright, it’s fairly obvious that I’m not exactly very active here any more and I have my own reasons for that. I’m just going to point out one and say I really don’t have much of a muse for Ymir anymore. I’ve tried and it really just hasn’t come back to me. Eventually I might remake a new blog for her, but at the moment, I really just don’t see that happening anytime soon. With that this obviously includes I will be dropping any and all threads concerning Ymir and I’ll hopefully try to get around to telling a few people that I’ve plotted with that I’m going to drop it.       Apart from this, I’m still going to be role playing! I still have a muse for several other characters so I’m mostly going to be lurking around here at renouveleefoi or streetrxts if anyone still wishes to interact. Of course my Skype is available to mutuals that would like to have it! I’ll check around for a few more days for any messages but after that this blog will be completely inactive.

That definitely isn't normal.       "I'm sorry, don't usually see peoples... souls get ripped outta their body everyday. I try t'keep that out of my routine."  Of course Maka would act like absolutely nothing just happened. Only Maka would.  "Did you just say you saved me from a kitchen?"

Forever & A Day

Marco works as a barista in the second largest coffeeshop of the entire area. Trost is a fairly big city, so they attend people of all kinds—senior citizens who want a very specific order and will insult you while you brew it; twitchy college students willing to pay extra for that sacred cup of caffeine; successful entrepreneurs going to work. So many people come into the shop, in fact, that faces and orders tend to blur in Marco’s mind.

Trost is a big city and the coffeeshop attracts a lot of people. It’s no wonder, then, that sometimes you stumble upon the ghosts from your past that you thought had forgotten about you.

Ymir. “Ymir!” Marco promptly forgets about the line of people waiting to be served. “Ymir, it’s—it’s really you. Goodness, it’s been so long!” Sasha, paper cup in hand,  gives him a questioning look, but something in Marco’s face makes her wave a hand and shoo him away—she’ll take care of things for a bit. “Come; let me get you something, on the house.” He quickly whips up two chocolate swirl fraps and ushers them into a booth tucked into a corner of the store. They’ll have privacy here.

“How—how are you? It’s been what, five years?” This is the Ymir who used to defend him from bullies in the playground, who used to ask for his homework because she had neglected to do hers. This is the same Ymir who left without explanation so many years ago, and now is back into his life. Marco wonders what she thinks of all this.

I worried a lot. Why couldn’t you even call?!

 The rift; the elephant in the room that neither of them talk about is still there, alive after so long. Marco doesn’t know how to talk to the girl who was once his best friend.

“You look. You look—good, Ymir.” Alive.

      Brown eyes flitted around the shop for a moment, taking in the intricate design of some of the pictures hanging on the wall. Well, there's more than one way to decorate. A hand was raised to give a short little wave at the girl whom was working with her old friend. "Hey." The greeting she usually addressed people with still hasn't lost her boredom and disinterest. A glance was cast towards the long line of people Marco had waiting for him, but no comment was made on the subject. "Yeah, it's really me."       The brunette rocked back and forth on her heels, completely at lost on how to continue their... conversation of sorts. Fortunately for her, she didn't have to. Already her childhood friend was offering to buy her something and she'd only just walked through the door, into his life, just seconds before. "Always the gentleman, Marc. Still, not turnin' down your offer."

      Plopping down in the seat across from her companion, she gratefully took one of the cups from him, stirring around it's contents with a straw.  Despite what good things Marco may think about her, there was little guilt for neglecting to speak to him for so long.  He'd made a fine life on his own so why worry about it? She figured he would, anyway. "'M good. You seem to not be doin' too bad yourself. Workin' at an expensive place for coffee." At his comment for their time apart, Ymir merely gave a noncommittal shrug and took a sip of her drink. "Couldn't 'f been that long. Just a little before high school ended. Did you end up gettin' into the college you were dreaming about since you were a kid?"  She used anything she could find to steer the conversation elsewhere. She had little interest in what Marco had to say about her lack of communication with him. Lord knew it would be a long-winded rant once he got riled up.        There are some things that are not forgotten when it comes to Marco Bodt. One of those things was the not-so-rare moments when he'd absolutely flip his lid at her. She deserved it, but they were hardly anything worth getting upset over. Perhaps that's why he got so mad when they were little; she had no boundaries, no limits telling her when to stop. It's not that she didn't care for Marco, she just didn't particularly care for his opinions on certain topics. She liked to do things her own way.       Well, at least he's doing alright.                                                     "So do you. Settled down with anyone yet?"

      "Gee, thanks." It took all she could not to send some teeth flying from the idiot's mouth. Oh wouldn't that be a joy for everyone to witness. One day she would, but today was not that day. She needed his help, that was true. She wouldn't admit it, though; at least not directly. "Since you're oh-so-great at this, maybe y'could show me th' ropes? You know       impress your empress over there," Ymir's thumb was obviously now aimed at a particular black-haired girl. "Maybe she'll notice you, for once."

i want a hate ship. where there’s insults and fighting and rivalry and they don’t get along, they never do. jealously and envy and maybe a little violence. bitterness and fury and they drive everyone around them crazy. they can’t be in the same room without snapping at each other and the thought of being together sickens them. i want an ‘i fucking hate you' ship.
