The Stolen Prince A Poem By Me
The Minotaur, the Minotaur oh the mighty Minotaur As strong as a bull, as large as a horse as fast as an ox, yet born with human paws
Born with a bulls head, yet born with a human heart forced to be a warrior of Minos, yet he has a human laugh Trapped by the labyrinth, yet the Minotaur is a prince The prince trapped with no enemy to defeat
Alone in the labyrinth, tracking it's halls Waiting for one more person to befall To his fathers last call they all shall fall To the minotaur, prince of Crete With a human heart of gold
The child of fate, the prophecies foretold He shall be a beast, oh ever so bold But these prophecies never recalled How the Minotaur had a human heart of gold
The Minotaur, oh the Minotaur The might beast with a heart of gold The Minotaur, oh the Minotaur A giant beast ever so bold
Yet the prophecies never foretold That his father turned him into a monster Not the bulls head on his shoulders Yes, it was the cause of it all His father, Minos of Crete Who stole the princes heart of gold
His father, Minos of Crete The true monster of it all
