NYC Snow Days by Jose Tutiven
Dear Nasa
Dear Nasa. find me a planet we can’t destroy in a hundred years.
Dear generations we rose from, tell me. was it worth to find the plastic and oil that ruined our countries, but saved us some time?
Dear futures to come, like rising phoenix from smokestacks of our factories, from the pollution in the ocean, from the heavily wrapped plastics of our baby food.
tell me.
tell me what will you do to save the night from the black billowy sheets that rise from cities
I don’t want the stars to become specks of styrofoam
you may never know what its like to breathe in the air, the smell of dust more powerful than the burning smell of metal from the new car that they are making better
better than what?
you may never know what it it like to learn that the world is sick with a cancer known as people
you may never know what its like to have something appreciate you enough to hold your life on its back like a mother nurturing a child, understanding that most of world does not know or understand that affection is like watching your childhood friend get hit but not knowing how to help them
normally id run to my mother pleading for help. but my mother is the earth and the earth is dying. Grandfather galaxy is in just as bad shape can you believe that we’re debating sending toxins that almost killed us… to the stars?
i don’t want the stars to become specks of styrofoam
our sunsets may no longer be romantic evenings spent under a blanket, they may become our worst fear… the end
the breeze from the fans may not be enough to cool us down after we lit fires in the coals that keep us warm
animals without homes traveling miles and miles to the cities, cold steel bars imminent the only place they have left
humans as selfish as the billionaire calling for more fuel not thinking of the little boy on the street,
hungry
the man kicks them out, telling them there is no place for them to go but to die
watching the stars go out one by one is like watching the fire in your loved ones heart going out ember by ember
I am watching the earth go out.
ember by ember
this tip tho!!!!!!!!
I need to try this for trips I only bring a carry-on to.
I use to do this all the time in the military. Just forgot how to over time o.o
I wish I’d known about this when I was homeless.
I could’ve taught it to all the other ladies at the shelter and Darlene could’ve sucked a sour one because she never would have been able to bitch at us for “having too many clothes.”
reblogging this to have it forever because holy god damn
Holy damn I need this

The bra of the future is here — and we need it
Introducing the Knix Wear Evolution Bra. At the time of writing, the bra has gathered $117,519 on Kickstarter from 1,492 backers, and still has 30 days to go. Which is great considering the more money raised, the more everyone will benefit.
