Woods edge wildlife

We live on the edge of the woods and with all the trees and cover around it feels like we're in a little forest glade. Being so close to the woods means there are lots of wildlife visitors that we capture on our cameras to share here.

Wow, what an encounter this one is! Hedgehog and fox together!

Can you see hedgehog between the bowls, trying their absolute hardest to look like a clump of grass? Can't blame him when Captain Cronch arrives and wants some dinner, you can see him breathe again when Cronch wanders off!

Also, that eyeliner looks fabulous on you, Cronchy!

Finally got to see a fox in the daylight and she rewards us with....well....

Oh well, Tinkle by name...

Blackbird makes his debut!

Great entrance, great exit, superb style in that all black number. Yup, this boy will go far.

TFW you get completely caught out by a jump scare in a show that you're watching.

We're still trying to figure out the relationship between these foxes, Tinkle (the vixen) and Cronch (the dog fox).

Here Tinkle lives up to her name and leaves a scent mark. Later, Cronch comes by and gets a big sniff, thinks about some food and then heads off instead.

What do you think is going on between these two? Are they an item or are they territorial rivals? Its fascinating!
