Brunch with Zayne, 2016

Zayne came by my island for brunch today. I won the island last year in a game of Sabacc. I’d become quite good at the game after being forced to barter my TIE Fighter for it. A gang of Gamorrean thugs threatened to turn me in to the First Order, despite that I’d found the TIE abandoned on an ice planet years before the First Order had started to form. Regardless, I won that first game and got to keep my ship. Some tried to chalk it up to the force, but I’m a fast learner and I’ve got no time for galactic myths like that. I barely won that first game, so I spent the next year playing games with every scum lord in the every seedy cantina I could find across the galaxy. That’s how I met Zayne, and he came by the island for brunch today.
