for those of you that have known pamcakes for a while, a lot of stuff has gone down in the last 8 months

got the dream job! now work for an awesome company making decent money (65k a year!!) 

love what i do - mix of communications, mktg strategy, also learning about promotions and programs and stuff

i travelled to seattle/portland (yeah i met @cracktastic and stayed with her and it was fun times)

work sent me to DC where i had a great time and a hookup that pushed me to submit to thought catalog

my friendship with a has steadily deteriorated to seeing each other once every few months to nothing (like 0) at all this year and i’m perfectly okay with that

i started dating a wonderful man who i actually love very much and loves me too :3 

i got sick and tired of my crazy family (other shenanigans also went down, like my sister hit me when i refused to listen to her outdated ideas about sex and verbally and emotionally abused me)

i left and cut them off (it even escalated to court and i have a 1 year no contact order. i miss my nephews but..) 

i’m getting my shit together! paying down my loans, and i should be done paying off my student loans in 2017 

things with the boy are going well. like, really well. he treats me well, we bring out the best in each other, blah blah cheesy shit*

*not saying it’s perfect - we have moments of imperfection but we make it work

overall, i turned my life around big time 

anyway. my laptop now works, i’m more comfortable(ish) to blog at work, so i’m back 

and it feels so damn good
