RIP Charles Durning

I'm a huge Charles Durning fan because of two movies: "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "The Muppet Movie".  Though really he is great in everything he was in, but those two films kind of define him for me, so that's that.

My sister is gluten, soy and dairy free and cookies can be hard to come by.  Even the ingredients to make your own are tough to find.  So I found this recipe and tried it out and it's GREAT. Thumbs-up from my gluten-free coworkers and a little tweak in the chocolate-chip content (Enjoy Life makes gluten, soy, dairy, and 5 other allergen-free chips) and the butter (I forget who makes it but there is a soy-free vegan margerine) and these are perfect for the g/s/d allergic.  They're also REALLY good just as cookies, which is also hard to find for gluten-free recipes due to the difficulties with gluten-free flour.

Just a note: I did not create this recipe, just sharing it for people who are lookin'.

The Westboro Baptist Church went to picket the funerals of the fallen children of the heinous shooting. Proclaiming it was “gods” judgement due to the state standing up for gay marriage. Well, they came face to face with hundreds of Hells Angels. The bikers formed a human wall blocking Westboro from entering. Needless to say, the disrespectful bible thumpers backed down.
