Controversial opinion: one of my favourite things about A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness is that towards the end of the book, Conor's mum doesn't tell him to stay calm, or be happy, or anything like that. She tells him that if he's angry and hurt and whatever that he deserves to be angry and hurt and break things if he wants to. And honestly I forgot where I was going with this but it's an incredible book & U guys should read it

The Italian title for "A Monster calls" is "sette minuti dopo la mezzanotte" which is literally "seven minutes after midnight" (seven past midnight) Nd i like it more than the English one. Anyone else?

I have never read or seen media that calls out that specific memory of always being in waiting rooms or wandering different hallways of hospitals to keep occupied when nurses were either changing dad's wound care or the like. I knew one hospital like the back of my hand.
