06282014: BoomPH and Social Media Day 2014

Okay, so last June 28 I was able to attend the Social Media Day here in Manila. A happy celebration of the boom of internet use here in our country for almost 20 years already.

Some subjects on the panel discussion includes Internet’s positive impact on Filipinos: opportunities, connectivity and action.

Had a chance to hear Mr. Jonathan Yabut (1st grand winner for Apprentice Asia) and yes! I think he provoked a lot from that talk. 

He reminded everyone not to only just use social media as a platform for complaints and unnecessary reactions. It was a very important note for him that people should now start to act and focus on more important issues and be part of the good change as well.
