Gale had to admit that Eames, despite everything else, was a charmer. He made Gale feel good, he’d be lying if he said anything other than that. ‘And the Underworld’s darkness has kept you as handsome and mysterious as ever.’ the god beamed back. ‘I did, it was a nice break, you know?’
For the last few day’s he had been thinking what the man had changed about his room. Every time he returned to the Underworld his room was different but in a very good way.
'Of course I did. I thought you would have been able to tell?' Those above had noticed the leaves on the trees were dying out earlier than they would. His mother told him it was due to his want for Eames. 'I've grown rather fond of you, my Lord of the Underworld.'
Eames did his best not to preen at the young god's words. "And I of you, my springtime boy. I see the fading of the land comes sooner but I worried it was foolish to assume it was your affections. You mother must not be best pleased at that."
It was not fair, Eames often thought. It was not his fault that there were cycles to the world lest it stagnate and become too corpulent with vice. And the assumption that he was dark inside as well as in deed often set him at odds with the rest of the gods. But if this sweet young man could temper his heart why could not the rest see?
Eames tugged Gale to him and swept a hand along one prominent cheekbone. "I have missed your laughter in the halls, your wit at my table and your warmth by my side. Kiss me so that I may have the taste of your lips again as opposed to a faded memory."

'Sir.' Jamie exclaimed, looking up over the computer. 'I've told you you're not meant to be in here.' Jamie stood up. 'I gave you the benefit of the doubt earlier but I really am going to have to call security now.' There were things on Jamie's work computer that really couldn't see the light of day. If they did the company and his job would disappear. There was too much corruption here.
'Please … go. Sir. Please?'
Eames had his most efficient looking expression on and held up one finger. "I think they might be a bit tied up," he said, remembering how he'd left the three: tied ankle to ankle and sedated in the small office. "Jennings on twelve's been sacked and he's not taking it well. His access needs to be restricted."
Jennings was dead in a closet, dirty bastard. Hell of a good man with a knife though. Eames had to 'borrow' his suit coat since the man had put a rather large gash in his.
He crossed over to the technician and tilted his head. This one was the target, orders to bring in as soon as possible. Eames gave a bright smile and leaned on the edge of the desk, chin on top of the monitor so he could look the man in the eyes. "I'll leave on one condition. You come with me. Just for lunch. A nice, quiet cafe perhaps?"

Arthur was definitely ‘running hot’, but he doubted there was anything that could be done about that. At least not by traditional means. Every second that he spent with Eames, their skin constantly touching, he was starting to get a good idea about the ‘cure’ for this experiment. Or at least what would supply him with the most relief.
The Point man barely heard the other’s words at first, too locked into his own mind. His ears, however, did eventually pick up what Eames was saying. Arthur could hear the concern, the worry, in the forger’s voice. It was strange to hear it so clearly, though Arthur knew he must be trying to mask it.
At this rate, with his skin feeling like it was on fire and Eames obviously not willing to leave him, getting any work done would be impossible and pointless.
"…Alright," Arthur felt himself say, putting down the now empty glass of water and turning back towards Eames. "Let’s go lay down on the bed, it’s big enough for both of us. I doubt we can get much more work done anyway."
Eames let his relief show, a moment of truth and Arthur-based weakness he couldn't deny having. "I think it's for the best."
He wanted Arthur, he'd wanted the pointman from the moment he'd set eyes on his compact form and lethal hands. But over the years he'd wanted more than just a tumble with the man and that was the secret he held onto fiercely, cultivating a flirtatious antagonism with the man. And right now he wanted to strangle Yusuf. This was not how he wanted things to go between Arthur and him.
But he would not leave Arthur to struggle alone. "Let's go get comfortable, shall we?" He gave Arthur a bright smile.

Ry felt Eames deepen the kiss so he pressed even closer to the man in response. Feeling the other’s body flush with his, he let out a soft moan at the sensation, his wings rubbing the man’s back in a gentle manner. He didn’t want this feeling to ever end. Feeling a little bold, one of his hands moved down, first caressing Eames’ chest, down the stomach before resting on the other’s hip. His hand then snaked around to rest on the man’s backside.
Eames grinned and pulled his head back to smile at Ryan. "More of that then?"
He moved his hands up and down Ryan's back, mindful of the wings and where they joined his back. Clever fingers stroked the base of the wings as Eames watched for Ryan's reaction. He wanted to give this gorgeous angel whatever he needed.
Ariadne was nervous about letting him go back behind her, but nodded slowly, because she knew at least that it was sensible to so, on some level. She had been just surviving for so long that to be safe, genuinely safe seemed impossible. But this was Eames. The one safety she could actually remember. So she sat still, and let him look at her head, only nodding once. Dry clothes sounded better even than food and tea.
"There's a girl," Eames murmured as he looked. "It's not too bad but like all head wounds bleeds like a fountain. I'm going to disinfect and we'll keep an eye on it. I don't want to cut a patch in your lovely hair for a bandage but I will if needed."
He dabbed alcohol on gently and blew to remove the sting. "Sorry, love. I bet a hot shower and a clean jumper and trainer pants would do you a world of good, yeah?"

Gale stood up on the Earth in a huge field that seemed to go on forever. His mother had just left him and he wandered slowly. He could tell by the leaves on the distant trees that the season was changing and that Eames as he usually called him would be there soon.
When the voice sounded behind him, he did not jump. He turned, even greeting the man with half a smile. The younger god held out his hand and took the hand of Eames. ‘Of course.’ Gale had become a little fond of the man but the change from Earth to Underworld was always hard to take. ‘Have you missed me?’
"Terribly, with each breath that leaves my body," Eames said, bowing over Gale's hand and kissing it. He took in the young god's form and tried not to linger too long in one spot. "The summer's sun looks lovely on your skin. Have you enjoyed your time Above?"
Such a limited season when the world went to sleep, but Eames could once again have Gale at his side. He'd done his best while Gale was gone to make his quarters more to his liking: adding colorful paintings of sunlit fields, flowers that would bloom under the moon's touch, a fountain the burbles sparkling waters over rocks. All so different from the sepulchral mien of his own quarters.
"And did you miss me at all?" His tone was light, his smile playful, but Gale above all was the one who could hurt him.

The Lord of the Underworld, Eames as he fancied himself this incarnation, could not keep his eyes off Gale. The young God was lithe and beautiful, moving with a grace that made Eames' cold heart beat. His eyes were blue like the spring's sky and his sweet nose dotted with light freckles.
Oh how Eames wanted.
He slipped from his bone carved throne and passed a hand over the mirror that showed him the World Above. The sun was starting to set and yet Gale was still out from under his mother's green thumb. If he made haste he could speak to the boy alone. He moved like shadow, fast and silent, until he was outside, shrinking from the dying rays of the sun.
"Gale, speak with me a while?" He smiled and held out a hand to the boy.
Ariadne didn’t really want to sleep again. She was too afraid of waking up and finding out it was a dream, that she still held there, with them.
When she looked up at Eames, it took her a long moment to understand what he was even saying, what he had said before. Everything was in a haze, all wrong. It was horrifying.
"I’m fine. I think. I think I’m fine, I don’t know."
Eames crouched in front of her and brushed her hair back again. "Okay, we will sort the fine out later. Right now let me get a look at your head and we will go from there."
He opened the kit and got a few things out. "I am going to move behind you, yeah? Take a look at the injury and see if you need any more stuffing for in there." His shot her a small smile and stood, gauze and the like in hand.
"And after," he said as he moved. "We'll talk tea, soup and dry clothes?"

Arthur didn’t think he could stomach food right now. But perhaps Eames was hungry, and the Point man wasn’t going to let the other starve just because he couldn’t eat.
"None for me; you can order something if you want," he murmured, grabbing a complimentary glass and pouring in water from the sink. He barely refrained from splashing the cold water on his face, making due with just drinking the liquid.
Dark eyes eventually glanced down at their still laced fingers. Arthur wasn’t sure he had every held hands this long with someone before.
"I wonder if the effects differ depending on the person," Arthur mumbled, looking back at the Forger. "If it’s purely the drug, or if the chemical balance of your body also plays a part. If it would be worse were it someone else."
Eames leaned against the sink and waited for Arthur to sort out the water situation. "You'll need to eat, Arthur, at some point. And if you are running hot we need to cool you down."
He wasn't panicking but he was starting to fret internally. "They probably are a bit different based on the target. Body chemistry does affect interactions with drugs but there are the expected side effects versus the unusual. Hm too bad we don't have anything to take your blood pressure and the like. But no telling how my body interferes with it."
rubbing his eyes with his free hand, Eames took one more stab at it. "Look, you sure you don't want to just go lay down, watch some telly and do your best to relax?"
"I don’t know," she whispered, because she still didn’t know her name. He had said it, but it had already slipped away, like so much else had. Her eyes looked up at this man, this man who had been the last ember of a fire that steadily had died out, until she had suddenly found a chance to escape, to get away.
And to find him.
She hurt more places than she didn’t. The dull aches and pains of years of captivity, of her constant companion of fear and ever dwindling hope not enough to keep her safe, not really.
So much was lost.
Would he be able to help her find any of it? She ducked her head, eyes closed.
"I don’t know a lot, actually."
Eames nodded and bit the inside of his mouth to stop from blurting out any number of things. "Well don't stress about it just yet, okay? Let me get you patched up first." He gave her shoulder a squeeze and and went to get his trauma kit from under the bed. He stopped at the vanity mirror and unhooked the scarf that was hanging on the edge. It was one he always thought looked particularly fetching on her.
He jogged back down the stairs and moved to in front of her. She looked smaller, if that was even possible, tucked onto his couch. "Hey, love, you still awake?"

Good Morning, America.
M!A Touchy-Feely: questionarthur + forgingismybusiness
Eames’s hand was startlingly cooler than his own skin, but also made the Point man feel warmer. A maddening contradiction. Slowly, Arthur shook his head, leaning into the Forger’s hand without really thinking about it.
"No, there’s no need," he murmured, dark eyes closing for a moment. He didn’t want to talk to Yusuf, still a bit upset at him for the entire ordeal. No, they would get through this just fine, and perhaps Arthur wouldn’t even give the man the details of the drug that he wanted, just to make him mad.
It was freezing outside, so opening a window was out as well as turning up the air. There was no reason to have Eames be cold just so Arthur could be comfortable.
"Water. I just need some water," Arthur said, glancing at Eames before slowly getting off the couch, pulling the other with him. He felt better where Eames touched him, though the rest of him was shaking almost.
Eames let himself be tugged along by Arthur's surprising strength, Well surprising to those who'd never witnessed it before. He laced his fingers in Arthur's and followed dutifully. He wanted nothing more than to chuck the work out the window, get Arthur down to his skivvies and just take care of him. Touch him as much as he needed, keeping his desires tamped down. He could do that, hell he did that quite a bit.
"You want me to order us some room service as well?"
