Before Max stans come on to the comments telling me those are two different situations, let me point out that I wish Max well, and that he recovers from whatever he has soon, but this is just insane. When Romain almost died, THIS is what he had to say :

So you're telling me that now that he is in the position of being hurt by the consequences of a crash he is offended by other celebrating their win, but when Romain almost suffered a very graphic and horrible death, he just joked about it. Why is he waiting for others to do any different from he did when someone almost died on a race he was in, what the fuck is this double standard.

Not wanting to excuse Hamilton, but is it quint, that when someone else suffered an accident he joked about it saying that pilots are not sissies and that he would kick out any pilot who wouldn't get back into the car and finish the race but when HE got hurt people suddenly have to pray and mourn for him .

It also should be said that Lewis had no information of Max having been taken t the hospital during the podium and his celebration, so he had no idea that Verstappen's situation was so serious. You can see a clear difference between the podium and the after interviews, where you can see Lewis is shaken by the information , even telling Ziggo tv he would be checking on Max.

Don't get me wrong, I wish him well, yet the double standard remains. I wish Max a fast recovery, but him and all the people that are saying that the commemoration after the race was disrespectful have to start sorting out their double fucking standard and understand not to do to others what you wouldn't want others to do to you!
