Been ignoring my disordered eating for the past year or two and having to go to the doctor for something completely unrelated and them now putting me on a weight management plan and a bunch of prescription grade supplements because my body is so deficient in nutrients is quite sobering actually

bro why do I literally have the most heinous stomach ache all day I feel like a thousand tiny knives are stabbing me from the inside of my digestive tract I am stretching and taking an anti acid and it is not helping I think I have a stomach ulcer

okay the anti acid has helped a lot actually so I may actually have a stomach ulcer

Update: stomach still hurts really badly 3 days later. I went to the doctor and she was like I have no idea what this is because you have no other symptoms. Took some blood that won’t be back for a week at this point and said if it gets worse to go to the hospital and ask for urgent tests so that’s really great

stomach still really hurts 4 days later. still no other symptoms or weird feelings. might actually have to go to a&e or this doesn’t clear up in the next day or so

stomach doesn’t hurt so much today as kind of feels like the soreness aftermath of pulled muscles. I walked 5 minutes to the shop and back and then stood up for 20 minutes to make dinner and now my back is agony and there’s no way to sit or lie that doesn’t hurt and I am so exhausted I didn’t even eat much dinner

So turns out my infection markers are crazy high and my iron is crazy low so they want me to bring a bunch of samples to the doctors and get my bloods redone because I have a crazy infection somewhere but they have no clue where even though I feel a lot better today

Had a repeat blood test. Active infection markers are way down but chronic infection markers are up. I feel better so they don’t want to do anything apart from a repeat blood test in a month to make sure both levels are better. I could maybe then get an a waiting list for a scan in a years time but if I get anymore pain or symptoms in the meantime I am supposed to urgently follow up and then they could get me urgent tests like yes we have free healthcare but they refuse you anything but a blood test unless you are actively dying and even then if it’s weird they just give you more blood tests
