So I haven’t had this blog for very long and there’s already so many of you! The UD fandom has been one of the greatest fandoms I’ve been in because everyone’s just so nice and chill? It had been a long while since what happened at the lodge, Sam hadn’t spoken to anyone. Who could blame her with the things she saw not to mention the risks she took for everyone to get the hell out of there. But she felt like she hadn’t been there for Jessica, Mike said he she had fallen down an elevator shaft or something. God it was so hard to remember, she didn’t want to but she needed to. Sam didn’t even look for Jess, she was more concerned about not dying then making sure that Jessica was okay.

It was a guilt Sam carried with her about not being there, in the mines, for Jessica. So instead of forgetting about the girl completely Sam had set up for them to meet for coffee. She wanted to get closer to her, but it was going to be hard. In the amount of time that had passed things had become difficult for Samantha. She isolated herself from everyone, slowly she only let three people from the incident back in her life forgetting the rest even existed. It wasn’t fair for her to do that though, she knew it probably worried them all and that they were probably better off as a group then individuals. But Sam just wanted to be by herself, she felt so guilty about everything blaming herself for causing all of this.

Closing her eyes she pulled open the door to the coffee shop, which was rather busy before getting a few looks. Only a small handful of people had heard about what happened but that didn’t stop the looks. Sliding into a corner seat seeing every entrance and exit, the bathroom and the cameras Sam waited for Jess to show up. Hoping she would show up more so, she at least wanted to say hi to her.

Ever since then Jess had found it hard to leave the house. A mixture of fear and embaressment flowed through her like some sort of desease. So when Sam had messaged her she had found it very difficult to respond. She had thought it over in her head for days, wondering if it was the best thing to do--to see her and bring up all the old nightmares. But for some reason or another she agreed. Maybe she just needed closure from someone, or maybe it was just that she missed Sam. Sure, she had teased the girl at any chance she could get but when it came to the groups dynamic she was like the mother. The care and support she had recived back then when they were all still friends--Well she wanted it to return. At the coffee shop she had turned up late and lingered outside, her mind filled with doubt. Though she knew she would need to just be brave and go in. After all she had got this far already. With a deep breath she entered, dull eyes scanning around to find the familiar face. It didn't take long. Sam had hidden herself away in the corner and Jess began to make her way over and slipped herself on to the seat opposeite. Her once flawless face was covered in small scars and the once stunning smile was lost. The once chirppy blonde's frame was small and pale, almost like she hadn't been eating and when she spoke, it was the worst part.Her voice was so lifless & drained. ❝It's been awhile..hasn't it?❞
