Yesterday I accidently put my 2023 headphones, well loved for the past few years, thoughtlessly into the machine after having listened to mitskis washing machine heart on the way to work.

Today I bought 2009 in a flimsy plastic water bottle that I last think I saw in a gas station fridge while driving across the US border for cheaper fuel when I was 6.

I'm getting so tired of ads. Companies have shoved ads everywhere for everything, and now, with generative AI, they don't even need artists or designers to help. I think it's a luxury they shouldn't have. Imagine if all digital ads were permanently banned, and on top of that, if you wanted to advertise something, you had to get an artist to make it, either handmade or digitally drawn & printed out and ads would be confined to ad books which you could buy monthly or something for whichever categories of items you were interested in. Trying to forcibly divert people's attention through radio, websites, and emails you can't opt out of... and not to mention if you can't afford memberships or subscriptions, you're forced to watch more advertisements (why would you purchase something from an ad when you can't afford the subscription...) is a really aggrivating reality of dystopian psychological torture

The old furnace remembers the embers

remembers the flames that licked, lashing grasping gasping for air. Whisps and billows, plumes of smoke, stroke the air as steel cleaves steel and iron glows red, dread setting and deadnailed the hammer crashes down to a head. The furnace, now cold cannot remember how the kindling was sparked or struck, only remembers the feeling of the maleable metal, morphing from one shape to another.
