#Dr.STONE / Senku’s Starry Sky Science Class

I decided to create a Dr. STONE anthology together with a mutual follower from X (Twitter)!

Each participant is contributing a piece featuring their favorite character. Since everyone's favorite character is, in a way, the one who shines the brightest to them, we chose the title The Brightest One for the book.

One of my favorite moments from Season 1 of the anime is the scene where Senku and the others talk about the North Star. The three of them gaze up at the night sky, sharing their discoveries, thoughts, and excitement in a warm and peaceful atmosphere. When I came up with this title, that scene immediately came to mind.

Of course, the North Star is actually a second-magnitude star—but that's beside the point!

can we also consider the possibility that Xeno has been being a menace with his claws for years -- keeping them on and scratching during sex, poking Stanley when he's about to take a shot while practicing, using them to yoink cigarettes out of Stan's mouth if he starts to light one indoors, using them to tickle the back of Stanley's neck or just beneath his ear and make him twitch -- and so the second Stan got his own metal claws (butch edition™) he was like "I'M GONNA PINCH YOUR SQUISHY BABY CHEEKS"

There is such a distinct lack of Ruri + Senku friendship content in this fandom and it pains me. Senku spent half a year working to save her life before ever even meeting her. Ruri knew him a decade before she ever laid eyes on him. They were married and immediately divorced without any hard (or even awkward) feelings. Ruri is the only reason Senku knows about what happened to Byakuya. Senku is best friends with Ruri’s sister and Ruri’s boyfriend. Both of them are leaders of Ishigami village in their own right. Their lives would have both gone horribly downhill if they had never met. I feel like I’m going insane and I’m the only one in the asylum

Outside of a shipping lens, I genuinely cannot see Xeno and Stanley caring about anyone more than they care about each other, let alone spending their entire lives with someone else. Even if they were to both fall in love with different people, those people would not matter to them as much as they matter to each other. Because Stanley and Xeno’s relationship with each other will always be the most important thing in their lives. Whether that relationship is platonic or romantic changes nothing.

I’m gonna lowball some numbers here, but if Xeno graduated highschool at 18, graduated collage 4 years later, got his PHD in another 4, was immediately hired by NASA at 26, and got into contact with Senku (10 yrs old at the time) within the year, he would be (at MINIMUM) 31 when the initial petrification happened 5 years later. Canon states he was 25 at the time. In order for that to be true, Xeno would’ve had to both attend and graduate highschool at 12. What the fuck
