I was going to make this a doodle for Valentine’s Day but it ended up kind of melancholy-looking whoops - still, here we go!

I know this is supposed to be my art doodle blog, but I just wanted to show off some of the sweet loot and business cards I picked up at SMASH! this year! :’)

The Artist’s Circle was by far my favourite thing and I’m still very thrilled I finally got a chance to meet and support a bunch of artists I’ve admired for a while; and also find some new ones! I’m sorry if this tags annoyingly but, just to make a reference, I’m going to link the tumblr/websites on the cards above (since my camera quality is kinda poor hjgjklhj) plus the artists whose cards I don’t have but their art is in the top photo--

My sister and I went to SMASH! today (our first time there, and also our first con outside of our tiny local one haha) and I was super thrilled by the volume and variety of people there, especially in the Artist’s Circle! Here are some pictures from the doodle competition, because it was really fun to check out throughout the day and my sister and I were a little proud of our dumb dual submission (she did Usagi and I did Tuxedo Kamen, both woefully unreferenced ahaha) and there was a Dio lurking in the shadowy corner of the same board, A+
