albeit they didn’t talk much, mostly because the innate bent between the foxes and the monsters, kevin and allison’s relationship was better than everyone would imagine. it started with mutual respect and bonding over the rich kid life they both grew up with ( even if the similarities ended up there ; thankfully allison’s life had nothing to do with kevin’s messed up childhood, even if hers had its own types of traumas ) and slowly developed into a friendship outside the court.

still, that would be a surprise to anyone that dared to interrupt them.

they’re at a party one of those thematic nights at columbia and all the foxes tagged along to celebrate the championship ( it’s been a month already, but with all the work they had to win, even kevin couldn’t blame his teammates for celebrating ). kevin was feeling ridiculous in the 80′s inspired outfit, but a couple of shots made him loose up enough so he found himself on the dance floor with the foxes’ defensive dealer.

it didn’t mean much more than ‘we’re both hot and we’re both single’. in fact, that was exactly what kevin had said before kissing allison. his exact words were : “ reynolds , we all know that we’re both the hottest foxes. how come we never kissed each other ? ” kevin wasn’t surprised when she replied that it was because he’s ‘ an asshole but we should do it ’, making the striker laugh before guiding her out of the dance floor. half hidden by the lights, kevin leaned on the wall ( a trick he learned long time ago to make kissing shorter people easier ) and, pulling the woman closer by her waist, he kissed her full of curiosity, tipsy fun and that particular type of excitement that only kissing a hot person under the strobing lights of a club was capable of replicating.
