Foxface’s World is now closed

it’s really hard for me, but i guess there is no point in acting like i’m ever going to get back to regular posting. this blog is very dear to me, thanks to Foxface i was finally able to improve my art, get friends and see how it feels to be seen as an inspiration or someone to look up to. 

the truth is that running a blog was way too stressfull for me - of course, i loved it, and i loved the attention my art was getting, all the nice messages, you guys are great. but my mental health got way worse in the past few months, i’m struggling to draw or interact with people (those of you who follow my personal blog probably know i keep disappearing every now and then) as literally everything is stressing me out. that’s why i decided that there is no point in fooling myself that i’ll get back to regular updates anytime soon.

i don’t want to delete this blog because maybe one day i’ll be back. i really hope that soon i’m going to get way better (i’m moving out, starting college and possibly my transition too) and i’ll be able to get back to drawing this ginger asshole. no matter how many times i said i hate Foxface i never stopped loving him : D

wanted to make a new minimalistic ref for Foxface because the anatomy on the old one physically hurts me but suddenly i got so furious i decided i despise everything i draw. probably because i couldn’t get the headshot right. aaarrghhhhh i need to calm down.

i’m nearly done with finals; my last exam is next thursday so i have plenty of time; i started with a general rewriting of things on the blog and stuff like this.

things that already changed:

new background

bigger font so now it’s easier to read

deleted the tags page. it was quite useless

rewrote the about page and added an about mod page

link to mod blog works again (few people asked. i deleted the blog earlier but decided to make it again haha)

to-do:

new reference for Foxface

maybe refs for Willem and the rest of Foxface’s companions

updated faq

an actual update

when i’m done with everything on the list and the story arc we’ll try to figure out what to do next; probably i’ll just return to ask-mode as telling stories is kind of... tiring.
