@foxguts-blog1
I like the idea of not being afraid of letting your imagination rule you, to feel the freedom of expression, to let creativity be your overwhelming drive rather than other things.

We, Hemophiliacs!
Poem by Luca Grey Slaton. Holy hymnal hurricane of hymen
crimson harbinger of the funny
feelings you get when we
turn the lights off sacred sapphire eyes and silken
skin that makes you feel pretty
and your hairs a mess, your favorite dress
it looks alright on you
it makes me feel pretty too. hands holding on a knife hilt
feet in the bog silt bodies in black robes,
our entire wardrobe designed for starlight sacrifices and summonings.
They must have a plan, they say and we nod our heads and smile
but in retrospect blood trails always seem to lead one way,
twords we monsters-we, hemophiliacs! we left all the solipsists in the woodsburied under piles of salt of earth
we would become some bloodsoaked legion
this is our assault.yeah and I like to tickle you.I wield in my left hand a dagger
and right hand a sickle. Maybe you will figure it out thatI’m a beast blood
a moonwalking mongrel. If you cut me open
it would smell sulpherous and of coal you, hemophiliac, I give
insight into my soul.(and one day the whole thing)
Bloodlust
(a poem by Eva Grey Slaton)
that boy paints with his own blood
I want to hold his hand
and let him crush me
I want to slither into bed
and let him make me a work of art
I want to convulse and bleed
abrasively from behind the backs of my excitable eyes.
Painter boy tell a story on my trembling thighs,
and on the base of my skinny spine.
Tell me how lust has broken hearts since
the beginning of endless time,
lost in untethered rhymes by
the sweaty young men I find
Animal instinct is the ink
and you are the pen.
I want you to baptize me in sin-
to tear me open
and change me from within.
Am I a real woman to you
or am I just a mantle of flesh
for you to make sacrifices too
am I a prom queen or a scene
from a forgotten home VHS tape all
in foreboding static
I am the goddess of decay and death
and I will hang myself in your attic.
Feet
(a poem by Eva Grey Slaton)
I have big drastic
graceless feet
that feel like they can
only take big drastic
clumsy steps in
a positive or negative
direction.
I have a meat suit I can not
simply eat my way out of
I have a gum disease
I have teeth ground down
by amphetamines and caffeine
and a tongue with singed taste buds
I have a pristine mean streak that scratches
my skin and latches to me.
I have freedom somewhere deep within under
all these things.
I have a goodness somewhere that rings
I have a freak inside the meat who
is somewhere between genders and sexualities
I have fists that tenderize my meat
painfully and staining things like
my brutish hands red like the bed spread.
I have other parts I would like to remove soon
but I don't know where to start
my weak heart, heavier than a million
pounds of flesh sawn off in my driveway
the fingers I play with when I catch my nerves
the palms that cycle between open and
shut never ready to serve man like I dreamed
and a million trillion other things
I have big drastic
graceless feet
that feel like they can
only take big drastic
clumsy steps in
a positive or negative
direction.
one day I will saw them off
and float wherever I go.
