Okay so, my fellow romance shippers. We did not get what we wanted BUT you guys, there was no specific mention of Vickie, no mention of a boyfriend for Nancy. They all four plan to still meet up every so often, so that means theyāll still be seeing each other.
We will never see it but, THERES STILL A CHANCE FOR THEM TO FALL AND LOVE AND BE TOGETHER!!! (I guess the same could apply to Byler)

if thereās one thing ppl take from what happened to james randone, itās this:
not everyone involved in something you love needs to be an activist.
james ransone made it clear that due to experiencing sexual abuse when he was around eddieās age, he was uncomfortable discussing shipping or sexuality for his character.
so what did the it fandom do? constantly hound him.
is eddie gay? is he a top or a bottom? what do you think of every sexuality and gender ever? youāre a private person? let me shove this camera in your face and ask you about politics. youāre going through a mental health crisis? clearly itās time for a debate in your DMs. why arenāt you agreeing with everything i say? why are you mad? are you a bad person?
to be clear, no one will ever know why james decided to end his life. i doubt it was just one thing.
but too many ppl in fandom seem to think that actors owe them activism, and if they donāt accept that role, harassment is the only way to change their minds.
itās bullshit. it does real harm. and james, as someone who went through the kind of trauma most of the it fandom could barely imagine, deserved to set a boundary without it being trampled so a bunch of kids could feel morally superior.

Iām sure many knew this already, but James Ransone stopped a neighbour of his from being assaulted/r*ped in 2006 (he was interviewed about it, which you can see here) by chasing the attacker off with a pipe. Because he did that, the police were able to identify the attacker.
The woman who he saved has made a public statement now following his death that I thought some people might want to read š
