Tarot A diviner-class angel that was born to interpret the movements of the earth, the heavens and all things that dwell upon it in order to predict the flow of the future. In this, they are unusually successful, and thus their powers are sought by beings of all kinds. The sharp blades it possesses are for readings that involve spillage and sacrifice; all things have their price and their proper components, and they extract both of these things from their ‘clients’ as they see fit, driven onward by some mysterious process. Their eyesockets only light when seeing the future, but lately they have had brief moments of flickering lucidity even when no visions are involved. Perhaps someday, they will use the light that dwells within them to see their own path…

Necromancy A young man from an ancient order of blessed butchers, said to be founded by a woman who tore apart a god barehanded. When holy things die or must be killed, those involved send for members of this order, who will do the bloody work and dismantle the body without fear of godly retribution. They will then go on to forge these divinely irradiated remains into their tools of the trade, and use the holy viscera to fuel the necromantic powers that are the root of their unsettling abilities. It’s often said that one skilled butcher of the order, wielding their powers to their full potential, can dismantle a titanic god-corpse in merely a week.
