âIf we cannot guarantee tomorrow, how could I promise you forever?â

Truth
Shame and disappointment filled my eyes, I couldnât even look at you. So many opportunities to tell the truth, but this moment felt like the only time I could bare it all. We both knew it was coming. Neither of us wanted to have the talk because we feared there would be a loss. What we didnât expect was for the relationship to be revived. Once we came to terms with what needed to happen I instantly loved you more than I ever did. I looked at you in a way I never had. And then it dawned on me, this is the meaning of true love. Not being with someone even when you know it isnât right, but loving someone when they expose nothing but the truth.
Last Words...
When she told me it was over I couldnât even look at her. How did we get here? There was a time you were the only thought throughout my day, now weâre talking about going our separate ways. I didnât want to know what life would be like without you, now I think I may have to.Â
Gratitude.
We can get caught up, caught up in wanting our goals to happen instantaneously instead of trusting the process. During the struggle it could seem as though your plans are unattainable. One thing Iâm learning to keep as a constant reminder is timing is everything, and what is meant for you will be for you.Â
I canât let the day go by without mentioning that itâs Haitian Independence Day! So proud of my country.
May you...
May you find the joy in loving yourself to the fullest. May you keep out any bad energy. May you pursue the passion project youâve always wanted to pursue. May you shut out any doubts that hold you back from being your greatest self. May you always be aware of your self worth. May you always be a kid at heart. May you always look at the glass half full. May you count your blessings and make each day count. May you give yourself much needed rest. May you not strive for perfection but strive for constant growth. May you give more to those who are less fortunate. May you only make changes for yourself.Â
As the New Year approaches I always like to reflect on the past year. I hope that everyone continues to grow and enjoy the journey as this New Year comes. Love and light always. Happy New Year!

Breaks Are Good For You
Hello? Is this thing on? Hello my friends, itâs been a while. I donât remember the last time I sat down to write so excuse me I KNOW Iâm a little rusty. Some changes have happened in the past few months that have caused me to revert into my creative shell so to speak. I just havenât been inspired. I wouldnât call myself a person who has dealt with depression, but a deep funk has sucked me in so much that it has be questioning a lot of things in my life. At first I got down on myself, but as someone who continuously struggles with keeping a positive mindset, I am learning that I needed to go through this to have more of a clear direction in my life. I often wonder about those who spend their lives doing something that doesnât make them happy. I am talking career wise here. There are so many people who do things they donât want to do because they feel as though they donât have options or are capable of doing anything else. Needless to say where I am in the work force right now makes me think more towards my very near future. There are a few creative projects that I often think about but quickly doubt my abilities to accomplish them. As the New Year approaches, I plan to take more risk, step out of my comfort zone and prove myself wrong.
Happy Birthday to the G.O.A.T!

I support those who are in this country to make a better life for their families. Only an evil person would use their power to take opportunity away from those who came here to earn a better living. I support DACA.Â
Praying for everyone in the Caribbean Islands that they are safe during and after Hurricane Irma.
Love to Los Angeles
Congratulations to the city of Los Angeles and a big round of applause to the L.A. City Council for replacing Columbus Day with Indigenous People Day. I hope that this starts a trend for the rest of the U.S. to make this change as well.
