Whilst the rest of his presumably more elaborate gift was still in the process of baking, Haurchefant took it upon himself to deliver a small card in return to Zephirin along with a rather small bouquet of blue violas. The card simply had 'Always' written upon it wishing to keep with the simplistic theme that Zephirin had presented him, carefully written in a silvery ink. A small drawing of a few hearts of various sizes was in the corner.

//- A month later and I still cannot properly articulate a written response so let it be known Zephirin simply treasured the return card and flowers and no one can say otherwise. (he had the flowers dried and keeps them safe because he’s a sentimental man).

hi welcome to my ted talk on haurchefant could have gotten a better shield and armor but choose against doing so not only out of ishgardian culture but out of how much he adores house fortemps in general and would die to uphold his family and their beliefs and traditions and it was purely due to his own strength and determination that he fended off that light spear for as long as he could to give the wol time to escape and pursue thordan because be believed in them so dearly despite zephirin basically having the power of a mini primal thanks bye

Morally grey: A character who does too much bad to be a good person, but does too much good to be a bad person.

Sympathetic villain: A character who is a bad person, but whose backstory/character arc makes you feel sorry for or sympathetic towards them.

Anti-hero: A character who does bad things to achieve a good goal.

Anti-villain: A character who does bad things to achieve a goal that they believe to be good, but is actually messed up.

Just plain annoying: A character who does bad things to achieve a bad goal but has one throwaway line about a hard childhood that is expected to put them into one of the aforementioned categories when in reality it just makes them annoying

The rapid tapping of feet would reach the man's ears. Simile climbed onto the Archimandrite's desk dragging a small purple pouch that smelled faintly of chocolate and lavender. A large and not so scruffy-looking crow had also perched on his desk with its own package, three long black quills wrapped in soft white fabric. Nevermind that Simile left tiny footprints all over the man's paperwork...

The clicking of small claws against his desk did not go unnoticed, a soft smile crossing his lips as he turned to watch young crow wander over with a small package. He couldn’t even be upset about the tiny footprints in ink, although he wondered if that would cause Svan trouble.

“Thank you, friend.” He gave a gentle smile reserved only for his animal friend before accepting the package, looking down at the quills with a smile. “...they are lovely. Why don’t I get you a biscuit and you can go tell her thank you from me?” He might get scolded later for giving Simile an entire biscuit but it couldn’t be helped, the little guy was too sweet.
